There are very well-educated students that can and will make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, some of their parents don't have a lot of money. Then, there are kids who have rich parents that pay way too much money for their kids and their kids slack off. These decisions could change the world as we know it. That is why all citizens should have free college tuition. Side: yes
I think that if the government were to provide free college tuition there would be an increase in the amount of highschool graduates that go on to attend college. It may not increase the attendance at communtiy college to drastically but I would have to believe that the current ammount of people who apply at a 4 year college would grow greatly because they wouldn't have to pay to attend the college of their dreams. It would give each indivdual an equal oppertunity to attend whatever college the chose to and the only reason they would not be able to attend their dream school would be purely based on academics. Side: yes
Yes and No. Its like me asking "Should everyone who wants to be given the chance to learn and succeed in life be able to get a college tuition?" I think that yes, the government should provide free college tuition for all citizens of those who want to learn and be something in life and for those who earn them. No, if it's going to be given to those who won't appriciate and take the chance to learn and succeed in life. The people for those who are going to recieve a free college tuition should take the chance instead of slacking off and doing nothing. Many don't have the money to pay for those who want to go to college. For those who have the money, some can pay thier way to college even when slacking off. Side: yes
The government should provide free college tuition to all citizens. This is because not all of the citizens can afford colleges or universities. Eventhough there are scholarships and students loans many students find it time consuming and difficult to apply for these things and because of that they decide not to continue their education. So, if the college tuition is free, they don't have to worry about applying and can just got to a college without worries. Also they can enjoy a lot more there high school years. Another important reason why tuition should be free is that maybe it will encourage more people to go and we might have more professionals in this country. Side: No
Yes, I think it would be n good idea for the government to pay for the citizens tuition. Being that in the end when were done with college. Were going to be the one's in the end that the government want to work for them. So, they should pay. If you want the education then, go for it. Everyone does not have the finances to pay it off. WHatever the situation maybe; whether your poor having money troubles and etc. Side: yes

Although I don't agree with some of the government's antics...I must agree to this one. Reason being is that most of America's most smartest people, I do believe, are either poor or live in a low or very low income home and cannot simply afford an university...not even community college. And plus it gives everyone an equal opportunity at jobs and a living...isn't that what we all want? I know I certainly do. Side: yes
Yes, they should start that because some student that want a college education, to a school that they probably would have a easy chance getting into, but just cant provide that dollar sign the school is asking for. So thats one thing they wouldn't have to worry about, but i think it should be rules with this oppurtunity also by keeping a GPA that they give you for going into that college also. Side: yes

No, lol. People should definitely not be provided with free government tuition for college. This could give them a feeling of laziness, or a "laid back" attitude. It will give people in high school less of a feel for responsibility. People leaving high school should have some sense of the real world, you have to work to get things accomplished. It should not all come free. People that attend colleges, all the way from local to major, have all worked to some extent to be approved for their acceptance. It helps a person get started and experience some of what the real world has to bring. If the government were to provide free college tuitions, it would also limit the funding for the colleges themselves. Colleges would have little ways of making money. The government would be paying for your attendance, and also probably have to provide for the food, books, and other material. The colleges would not have enough funding to do that. If this were to continue than the government would be financially unstable. Obama would be impeached, and maybe we would enter another depression. That's not a good future for us. We should pay. Or else we might turn communist. Seriously, lol, No free college tuition Side: No
Maleni Jaramillo [Me-lo-nie. hara-miyo] thinks that the government should provide free tutition To everyone. Because there are some people that well... basically not worth the time or day to enter a college with the kindness of the government. Some people take school likes its nothing or not a big deal, but it really is. There are also alot of apportunaties to get into a college anyways; so no need to worry about finiancial problems. I would say "yes" but i'd have to lean more to no...simple beacuse of whats known as rights and fairness.. sorry guys. Side: No
The US govrnment is in debt all ready , and if the government gave out money to ever person that wanted to go to college then the US would be further into dabt. But then not all colleges are the same price. so some people might get more money than others. Then it could lead to problems. Side: No

Why should the government waste more money on something that we need to pay for ourselves? Paying for college is like another step into becoming an adult. Paying for college with our money shows us we cant fool around in class or skip. Since it is our money paying for tuition. If college was free wouldnt everything be like it was in highschool? Where some people cut class, since they arent paying for it, goof off, and not pay attention. It benefits us by helping us mature that much more. Side: No
No, if the goverment pays for your schooling, it completely tears out the hard work of actually getting into schools. The goverment(my mother and other parents) is already paying for school now, so you're not doing what you need to do to become an adult because your parents are still paying for you to go to school. Going away is all a process of growning up and I believe working for a scholarship or paying for your schooling is what we need to become adults. Side: No

i think they shouldnt even do that there will be people that will make a change or difference the same thing but if they provide college tuition for all citizens. Colleges would be so filled up with people that we would run out of room in class and for the people that arent citizens to pay for college that wouldnt be fair because only the citizens will get it and wat about all the other people that arent citizens so if is free for them it should be free for all students Side: No
The government should not pay for citizens college. The reason being is that, some people will not be going to college for the right reasons. For example some might just go to party and goof around. Wich would just be wasting the teachers time and making the money go to waste. Side: No
