I believe that if there is a real probable cause for the government to be investigate a specific person then they should use all resources needed including tapping into an individuals cellphone, web cam, or any other form of technology they see that will help with their investigation.

Honestly I would not care if they watched over my actions, even if I was not guilty of the crime they are investigating me on, because all they will be looking for is illegal activity and will not really care to much about what you do in your home.

Yes, some people think it is an issue of invading your privacy, and it is, but do you really think that whoever in the government is watching you really cares about anything you are doing in your home as long as it is legal?

So when it comes down to it I think that if monitoring is need then the government should do it because I know that I for one will not be commiting any crimes that would lead to me being monitored so I have nothing to worry about and neither do you as long as you don't make yourself a suspect.

If the person who confided in you was able to cause harm once before who's to say that they won't harm you if they thought they should. If one of my spouses were to kill someone then turning them in would be an automatic yes because I do not consider anyone who can murder as my family so I feel now need to try and defend them in any way.

Well what if the person just says that they are seeing things but really they are not? If they are never taken to trial then they won't get a test to see if they truely are insane and therefore they could just simply lie about there mental stablility and get off without any reprecussions.

I think that if someone is truely insane and they attack someone out of their insanity then they should be more then welcome to plead insanity. With that said I also think that if someone is to plead insanity that they should take the length of the jail sentence they would have served and turn it into a physch ward time sentence. If you are truely insane then a physch ward is the best place anyways, don't you think?

I like the fact that we read shakespeare's work in highschool b/c if we were to read it at any lower lever we might not fully understand what the story truely means. Also, by read and understaning shakespeare's works we are raising our own level of reading and comprehension which will better prepare us for college level courses.

Just because you are a male it doesn't automatically make you better at leading others. To me gender is not a factor. I believe that all people have the ability to lead regardless of gender. Most people don't realize that there are actually a lot of female leaders in america. There a plenty of male and female business owners, lawyers, teachers, and other positions that require them to show a great amount of leadership. So, to me any female can lead as well as a man and vice versa.

So when someone harms someone you care about you are going to harm them as well? In a case such as this I don't see how you are able to see torturing as acceptable. If you cause harm to someone aren't you sinking down to there level? Therefore, with your argument in mind, should you now be tortured by someone who cared about that man/ woman?

Since when has one mans health been more valuable than another mans? I find torture to be cruel and inhumane. Yes, some people commit horrific crimes that may result in the death of hundreds of people but that gives you no right to torture them for there mistakes. Just b/c you think another person deserves to be tortured for a crime they have committed such as theft, murder, etc it doesn't mean that you should. Think of it this way, what if someone thought that since you yelled at someone you should be tortured. Do you think its alright that they torture you solely b/c they think what you did was worth being tortured over? I don't and I doubt you do either.

Being respected is not necessarily better than wealth but I would choose respecet over money any day. Sure with money you can have any material thing you want. On the other hand you can't buy respect from everyone. At the same time you can't live off respect and you can't buy things you want with respect. Even though money comes with respect that respect may be based off the sole fact that yu have money. People may assume you have done something great and respect you in that sense. So I think that being well respected would be better in the end.

That's true but on the other hand you will have no one. No one will like you or even care about you.

Say you go into a job interview with your "fear me" attitude and you act like that the entire time. Your potential employer will see that you aren't a very nice guy and end up trying to find someone else that would be assertive but nice.

So, fear may have some good advantages but with love you recieve better advantages such as people helping you.
