I ahem believe that schools do kill creativity. Creativity is definitely something that is limitless. School allows you to engage in activities within a limited range. If you were able to excercise your freedoms like using a cell phone, browsing certain internet sites, or listening to music, I believe that you could be a lot more creative. Creativity is something that a person should feel absolutely free to express. School has many rules and molds a person according to their rules. The person adapts to the school, and is in turn like everyone else, lame. That's not creative. Bending the rules should be a little acceptable, in every case. School is bad. Not in general, but for the creative part. Side: yes

I believe that schools don't kill or create creativity. I think that the give you the opportunity to be creative. Schools such as Mac give you the opportunity to use creativity in many this such as Art or Theater. In those classes you are given the chance to be very creative and share your ideas with the people around you. But, those aren't the only classes you cna be creative in. Most teachers in schools have plenty of times that they want you to think of something of your own and to use your own creativity to think of a solution to a problem. So when it comes down to it the only thing in schools that would stop you from being creative would be yourself. Side: No
i totally agree, teachers alone will want to push you to be even more creative. All you have is motivation around you, plus if you are creative alone, no one can stop you from being different no matter how many rules or situations they are. We were made to bend rules and to make things better. Side: No
In my opinion schools do not kill creativity. Instead, they support it. Since I started school there has not been one school that does not want you to be creative. All the time I keep hearing teachers say, "Be creative, use your imagination." Starting at kinder, they let you be messy and make mistakes, and to my knowledge that is part of creativity. Not to mention art, there you can let your imagination fly and draw whatever you desire. In high school you can dress however you want, as long as it is appropriate. You can wear as many colors as you want and they won't say anything. Also in your classes you can come up with creative ways to do new things and your teachers actually like it. Therefore schools do not kill creativity. Side: No
I don't think that school kills creativity. I think it adds to our creativity. We have plenty of classes that help us be creative. if we didnt have classes like art, theater arts, dance, and other extra curricular activities then i would say school does kill our creativity. the only creativity the school does kill is the way we can dress or come to school. for example.)facial piercings. i'm sure it says in the student code of conduct that you can have ONE facial piercing unless they have changed it. If anything schools actually let your creativity grow more, with all the kids and people in a huge building for at least more than 5 hours every day for 180 days a year, tch come on! seriously? there are some people all over thats creativity are beyond unique. Some draw some skate, some sing, and some dance... and some.. some dont do anything! which are the funiest one because there so creative they dont care to try anymoreeee. hahah. I know my creativity shot up the ROOF the last few years and ill thank you all for that one. Side: No
No, because nobody can't stop us from thinking about things in our minds. Its real "mind-bottling" but its weird. But people can't stop us from thinking the wrong or right way. We have freedom with our mind, but we can't realease too much. We dont want to come to school naked or half naked. Thats what Art class is for. Side: No

No, I do not think schools limit creativity. If anything, schools enhance creativity, by having many different clubs you can join such as, sports, band, art, student council, and dance, just to name a few. By letting you join different classes and clubs, the school is allowing you to be around people that are interested in the same things you are, therefore you can get different ideas on what you do, pertaining to that area of study. Overall, schools are helping expand your imagination, you just havent realized it. Side: No
