I'd rather be wealthy because you will be able to buy all the latest things you want, like you could buy all the exotic cars,import cars, Japanese Domestic Motor parts. You will have everything you need, and you will be successful because you could start your own business company, and make your dreams come true. Side: Wealthy
If you are wealthy you are respected. For example, Bill Gates or President Obama, as people, are espected. (Not talking about politically respected.) Some even look up to them. Many times respect comes with money. People may think that because you have money, you have gone through a lot of education and have worked hard to be a wealthy person. So it's better to be wealthy and be respected than be respected with no money. Also if you have money you can buy a lot of good stuff and live a good life. Therefore, I would rather be wealthy than respected. Side: Wealthy
I don't agree with you because not everyone respects the president and Bill Gates. I don't believe that everyone looks up to Bill Gates and the President because of the money they have. They are respected because of what they do for a living. Just because you have money and can buy a lot of things, but more money equals more problems. Side: Well Respected
People blessed enough to have riches or have whatever they want are normally not respected. Oprah is extremely wealthy, but respected also, but because she uses her money wisely. Pompus and selfish rich people are normally the people who are not respected. I don't think the money makes us respect them, the power to choose what they do with their money makes us respect them. Wealthy is better then being well rescpected because being wealthy you are able to have what you want and still be respected. People come and go but working hard to be wealthy is something you will always have to do. If your wealthy you will always be respected, unless you give them a reason not to be respectful. Just because your wealthy doesnt mean you can't be respected. If you have money its because you have been through alot in life to become succesful and you gain respect from others, You can use your money for good cause and people would look up to you more, But also being respected makes you feel good about you so people won't look down on you. KaBam! You have one million dollars, and no respect or appreciation. You can spend as much as you like, and your friends all come to you only because you have money. How would you feel if you were placed in this specific situation? You would end up being betrayed and used all the time. If you have true respect from other people, it doesn't matter how much money you have. You can't buy real respect, it has to be earned through a mutual relationship between two individuals. Being wealthy does give you respect, but true respect is better to have along with being wealthy. Just wealthy alone does not make a person happy. Wealth can turn you into someone who has no morals. Wealth can tempt you to make stupid decisions. Respect alone, can help you grow with others, and maybe achieve wealth. Side: Well Respected
"For the love of money is the root of all evil..." Many people associate wealth with success when in some realities, wealth is obtained from cheating and decieving. Owning money can become an addiction. Those that are wealthy are thought to be respected when in reality, those that are under him just want a part of his share. Being well respected, the kind of respect that honest people give, proves evident that the respected one is honest too. True respect is grounded on honor and loyalty, not the bases of how much money one has. Side: Well Respected
Being respected is not necessarily better than wealth but I would choose respecet over money any day. Sure with money you can have any material thing you want. On the other hand you can't buy respect from everyone. At the same time you can't live off respect and you can't buy things you want with respect. Even though money comes with respect that respect may be based off the sole fact that yu have money. People may assume you have done something great and respect you in that sense. Well personaly i think that most the time when your wealthy you are well respected because you are wealthy.Espically when you're really really wealthy most everyone respects you.I mean most the time they want your money like when you go to really nice hotels.They treat you with respect so you will pay them more money and will keep coming back. I believe its better to be well respected because when you are well respected,respect comes with many things. To break it down once you have it there is a chain: You have the respect then once people respect you. You get to know people who know people that could take you on to better things like wealth. I would like to be treated with respect because most of time people who are wealthy are very cocky and rude. I wouldnt really respect someone that has money with someone who respects you. I love respect because they are very down to earth with you and never ever fake with you. Side: Well Respected
