Profiling is a another word for judging someone or a group of people before you get to know them, like judging a book by its cover. I've been told, as well as other people, that doing so is wrong. Still I find it hard to not judge people and put them in a group that fits their description. I see a guy with a tatoo, piercings, and sagging and I think "I look at that guy the wrong way and he'll kick my ass". It's human nature, atleast for me, to judge someone by their looks, and I know doing so is wrong. So airport officials doing it to protect others will "justify" profiling. It lets airport officials to save potentialy a couple hundred lives just by taking some precautionary measures.

It's hard to say whether torture can be justified or not. Both sides having very oposing views, a person choosing one would have to think of their own sense of justice. Is torture an inhumane process or is it a tool to get information that can potentialy save hundreds? I find myself in the middle, but for the sake of argument I say yes, a very meek yes. Torture can be a "tool" that, used correctly, can save the lives of many, but at the cost of another's. Since I am American saving the thousands does outway the one.

Empowering students to choose the high school they wish to attend will give them a sense of freedom this country can't provide. It's not like this country was made so everyone can go anywhere they want and learn what they wish to learn. This country was built to keep tabs on it's people not the other way around. If students choose where to go, they'll want to do other insane things like choosing their leaders or following their dreams. We as teenagers need to be told what we want and where we want to go, since that has always worked perfectly before.

I don't think it should be forced, but instead encouraged. People are inclined to do the opposite of what they're told to do. So instead of telling them what to do we could ask them to protect the environment for help and other favors. We can show them how protecting the environment can benefit their growth as a country. It may be their country, but it's our world.

While we came for riches and fame, what we got was blood and hate. We came and we trampled on the Native Americans and put them in a secluded area in the US. We fought our mother country, told them we're old enough, and shoved them out of here. When someone didn't believe in our beliefs we simply forced our ideals into them by force. We enslaved African Americans because we felt we could. Even now we think of ourselves as the mighty country that will forever be right.

I believe school does kill creativity to an extent. While they have few classes that we can express ourselves, to a limit, most leave us lackluster. Teachers tell us that life is filled with many pathways yet they shove us through the door that they want us to take. Do this, do that in this way or your wrong.

I'm not a person who likes the "box", but I've had to adapt and stay in it. While it doesn't take creativity and "stab it to death", but it puts it on a chain to go a certain length. It goes to far and they pull it back in.
