Yeah planning a massive terrorist attack that caused the death of thousands is pretty suspicious. If we ever find Osama we should just monitor him. [sarcasm]

Actually, Osama is the most wanted man on the planet. The government has a right to put him on trial.

Your example is invalid because there is nothing in the constitution that says you can't call the cops on somebody, that's not secretly monitoring.

The 4th amendment of the Bill Of Rights states that:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Suspicious behavior does not give the government the right to monitor in the first place, so in secret is just ridiculous. That is without a doubt an "unreasonable search", which is something that the government is supposed to protect us from.

I believe that the constitution and the bill of rights protects us from things like this.

With the advances in technology we are making we should be improving law enforcement, But not in secret and not by invading privacy.

The shark on Finding Nemo obviously had issues. I mean come on people he never even knew his FATHER!

Just trying to lighten things up, this is a depressing topic.

There is scientific evidence that shows having a mother and a father is the healthiest way for a child to progress physically and mentally.

So a lousy father is better than none.(that is of course assuming that he is not abusive in any way)

Also, people change. Who says that he will be lousy forever. There are family therapy sessions you can attend to help.

"there are a million different situations that a murder could be."

Like what? Are you saying that a situation could excuse murder? If it was a situation where you killed sombody to defent yourself, that would not be murder.

0 points

Yes I would. Nobody should get away with murder. Not that I would ever marrie sombody that would muder anyone. But that's beside the point.

While striving to make advancements for the common good you can change the world forever.

Allot of people have succeded in doing so. Our founding fathers, Thomas Edison, George Washington, Martin Luther King jr, and many more. These people made huge advances for the common good and they are honored for it.

Students can and have learned allot from Shakespeare's works. They are important to history, theater, and literature, and those things are all taught in high school.

I disagree,

What about the people who make wrong choices based on what happend to them? They might end up in prison. Is that freedom!?

I voted for John McCain this morning because he wants to help America and he knows how to help America. Senator McCain wants to help everyone in America, Obama only wants to help the the lower class. He wants to tacks hard working middle class Americans and give it to the people who don't work and don't pay taxes. Thats not how things should work in the U.S. This is America, the great land of opportunity. In America you can make money doing whatever you want, through hard work. Obama might as well say "oh, you don't have to work hard, i will just tax the people that do work hard and the government will take care of you, and i will get credit for it, not the people that worked hard to earn that money." Thats not the American dream.

They will notice you for what you accomplished, and maybe even respect you for it.
