You didn't go to ASI you went the Testing Center to take your test.

We are free but being free doesn't mean you can just do what ever you want.

Yes, students should be forced to go to ASI for not completing an assignment because that gives some sort of motivation to try. If no one forces some people to try they never will. Forcing people to go to ASI is good for their future.
