That's why you do it the first time. If you don't know it you should study more so you don't have ASI.
You should check your work and make sure everything is perfect because later it can hurt you when you are older.
I believe they should because if you are not responsible than you should be punished. If you accidently miss one question then you shouldn't go to ASI. If you guess then you should also go to tutorials and more ASI's so you can learn more.
