A person is a person. Even if they are a bad person, he/she is still a person. My opinion is nobody should be tortured in any way or form, reguardless if they have commited a crime or something wrong. I feel that torture is a brutal and unfair way for humans to show the dominance that they obtain.

Nobody in this world deserves torture by our doing. Nobody in this world should be punished by the judgement of mankind. Nobody has the right to torture somebody. Who are we to judge why a person should be brutally tortured? It is not up to us to determine somebody's punishment.

Based upon my experience, I think that it should be decided by the students to whether which high school to go to. I myself live in the Nimitz district, and I decided to come to MacArthur because my friends were going there.

But with that in mind, my argument is a pretty one-sided point of view. Just because I decided to transfer to MacArthur doesn't mean that I should have. Again it all depends on what the student wants. I believe that they should have the freedom to choose where they want to get their public education. I mean, we get to choose what college we go to, why can't we choose which high school we want to go to?

My opinion on the matter is that something like this should be left for the people to decide. I think that if a president is a good enough leader, he should be allowed to do so.

But this raises a question; how can we trust this president? Very few actually know the president, and their votes don't really matter in the long run. I mean, what we elected this president for a third term and he was a maniacal dictator who wanted nothing but power? What this "third term president" destroyed our government? What if this president was the next Adolf Hitler?

Overall, I think the benefits outweigh the risks. If the people want this "third term president" to continue to lead the country, it has to be for a reason.

My answer is not due to emotional hatred of illigal immigrants, but because they don't have to pay taxes like registered citizens do. The fact that there are hundreds of thousands of people who aren't pulling their own weight in our country blows my mind, and I think it is completely unfair to the rest of the public. Why should my parents have to pay federal taxes when people are living in America for free of charge?

I love our planet just as much as anyone else, but nobody should forced into anything. I think that people and/or countries should have the right to do whatever they want to do, and have the right to make their own independent decisions. Whether those decisions are for better or for worse, I'm not sure about. But just because a third world country that is ruled by drug lords and is noted for their cocaine doesn't quite make that country just, but it's what they have to deal with for their time being to get by. What if that country is located in the Amazon and thrives off of the land for vegetation? They have to cut down part of the forest to survive, not because they want to. Sure that ruins their environment, but it's what they have to deal with. If you take their land away from them, what would they become? They'd most definitely go into a worse state than they were once in, and probably disintegrate as a country.

The U.S. has made a lot of sacrifices to get where we are today, and we've fought hard to maintain all of our rights, freedoms, and pride as a nation. As a result we've become one of the greatest, if not, THE greatest nation in the world. Big whoop right? No, not right. The U.S. is so much more rich in economy, people, intelligence, and money than any other country; a benefit that most other countries do not have. Yes, we may sometimes take this for granted, but we are where we are for a reason; because all of the bloodshed and sacrifice made by those from the past. So yes, the pros do outweigh the cons.

I'd have to say no because whether we realize it or not, teachers are always trying to get it us to think and visualize things and encourage creativity. Creativity is something that the student has to put effort into, not something that the school or the teacher could kill. It all depends on whether the student wants to make something with his grades, his time, and his life. The fact of the matter is, schools do not kill creativity; the student has the choice to kill his/ her creativity.
