I'm pretty sure The government has caught a few bad people by keeping an eye on some suspicious individuals. Suspicious to me is someone who might have a bad background and whose name is being thrown around in some suspicious activity. I think that if you are being watched for whatever reason and you're not doing anything wrong, then you should not care. It's not like they have cameras in your restroom, unless you're an extremely suspicious, past terrorists, about to commit some big crime. I just think its for our protection and it should be allowed. You don't want someone invading your privacy but do you want someone planning to kill 20 people have a lot of privacy to plan the perfect murder?

A lousy father would be able to teach you more than no one at all. Maybe he will be able to teach what not to be like, how not to act, how not to treat your family. That is better than no teaching at all I think. He could toughen you up. Also you will at least know who he was and never wonder if your father was a saint or lousy, you already know.

Unfortunately it is human nature to be selfish. This doesn't always mean that you are going to be a mean person and always do what is best for you, but an individual will usually help himself first. Sometimes in a good situation going out on your own personal pursuit does advance the common good. Neither is necessarily better but I believe that a personal pursuit might be more useful we only live this life for so long and we want to be the best we can be. Maybe your personal pursuit is to advance the common good.

Teaching Shakespeare in high school does not harm anyone in any way. It only makes you that much wiser, and exercises your brain.. Kids who don't enjoy learning it are just lazy. It will only broaden your understanding of how your language began and has evolved and maybe even give you some appreciation for they way things are now even if the way things are now is improper. You wouldn't want to stop teaching about world history would you? I mean why not it's the past. It's the same here learning this just gives you more appreciation and knowledge and the saying goes history repeats itself, maybe we will be speaking Shakespearian again one day.

Freedom is not what you do with anything that has been done to you. The past may change your thoughts on certain things and your mind is where your freedom is. You can thin anything you like, make any choices you like. No one or nothing can ultimately control you except you.

I am not to fond of either candidate. Being a liberal republican there are things I like about both men but I will have to go with McCain this year. I don't think it's fair that Obama wants to give so much to the poor. Are they not poor for a reason? maybe maybe not. If Obama decides to hand the rich peoples money to the poor then the only change we're are going to see here is more poor. Why would you want to get up and get a job and education when you have things being handed to you by the government? I'm all for charity and helping the less fortunate but not in the same sense that Obama has.

Global warming is a title. It is just what we are calling what the world is undergoing at the time. History repeats itself it has been too hot before and there have been more then one ice ages there might be one again! Of course not in our lifetime. Experience does stand for something! Why do you think places hire people with more experience?? It might not be the key but you cant say it doesn't stand for nothing.

Everyone wants respect and everyone wants to be wealthy. From what I've seen people who have earned good respect usually are wanted and are praised which brings wealth. If you have a lot of respect people are are going to look at you and think that you as a respectable person could be doing a lot. You are going to be wanted places not just with friends but in the business world. Also people should become wealthy the respectable way. For example taking many years of school and getting a PHD and becoming a wealthy doctor, that is respectable.

Wow, this was really persuasive.
