It is better to let the person who is hurting go than to let them continue to suffer in pain. There is a chance, they will have there worst days ahead of them. There are different diseases that are terminal and the doctors don't have a cure. If I had a family member that had a terminal disease, I would rather them die than have painful days. An example I read was an article in CNN about euthanasia. Patricia's family had to make a difficult decision about there daughter, she had cancer and it was spreading to her liver. It was hard for her family to see her in pain. They decided to let her die and not suffer.
