In most cases, the average terrorist seems tough and coldhearted on the outside. Although, not all terrorists are the same. Profiling just seems completely unecessary; It's stereotyping. Not all men or women of a certain race could be a threat to society. Same goes for gender or age.

As I see it, why not just treat everyone equally? What if an airport offical were to profile a completely innocent man with a sucpisious visage and fail to see the actual terrost, for instance, the average business worker?

Singling out a certain person because of race, appearance, gender or religion is... offensive.

No matter the wrong, no matter how bad we may think a person is, torture should never resolve anything. Who are we to say that some one else deserves to suffer because of their actions? It's not like we're perfect ourselves.

Say a man murders another. What's the penalty? Death. Would that be fair? How would that make you feel like a good person?

Not all high schools offer the same things. For example, Booker T. Washington in Dallas. This school mainly focuses on the performing arts. Perhaps a student plans to major in that specific area; attending that High School would be more beneficial. Some schools offer different courses or different variations on the same course such as language or musically related classes. Most students prefer a certain environment over another. These aren't the only cases.

Yes, overcrowding is a main issue. As long as the poplulation of students is controlled, I see no reason why students shouldn't be able to attend the school they choose. Certain limits can be set, but all in all, highschoolers should be given the oppurtunity to make the decision themselves.

I do think your argument has a good point, but I would have liked to see more elaboration intead of just one example. I understand exactly what point your trying to get across, but there is no need to ask a question like "...I say why not?" if the side of your argument is already apparent. There is one place that does need a question mark(if you had originally intened to ask a question). "...is it really fair to let someone else try and finish off the great deed that the orininal had began before him. "

Despite the fact that few of the past American presidents were often ridiculed or hated, many were good leaders. Why vote in a new man or woman if not necessary? The way I see it, presidents should be allowed to serve for an amount of time determined by popular sovereinty.

Sure, there are some of those who we may not believe to be the most wonderful leader for our Country, but in this case, I believe the pros outweigh the cons. If a promblem arises, there's always impeachment or the chance that president will resign.

What if some great leader happens to be elected? Surely the people of a nation would want he or she to serve for much longer than two years.

All should abide by the law. In order to prevent this occurence, immigrants should consider becoming a legal citizen before trespassing on land that they do not orginally reside on. Eventually, one way or another, they would be required to. Deportation should to make the process much easier(if not resolve).

The whole situation just seems like common sense. If you aren't a citizen, then the law doesn't require you to live like all citizens in the same area (pay taxes, bills, have a social security number, have insurance). All in all, becoming a legal citizen would be more beneficial to yourself and to the country you plan to make your home.

America is something that cannot be taken lightly.

Most countries do not allow freedom of religion, speech, or press. Many children cannot go to school and some women do not have as many rights as a person like those in the U.S. America opens more doors for a person's future. We provide adequate education and have more opputunities to find jobs than most places do. There are many pros, here. I believe they outweigh the cons. We've given up a lot, but we have achieved what we wanted in the first place.

Sure, we did make drastic moves in order for everything to be this way. Immigration, wars, and death. We've wiped out almost an entire civilization. Still, we have come so far. Could we have become what we are without all this? Should we consider our past actions a mistake?

I feel most schools require all students to be uniform. Yes, people have many opinions as to what they define as creativity. Maybe types of clothes or whether or not students are able to freely express through speech or literature. Most schools have a required dress code and have guidelines that prevent the students from saying what they may or may not truly feel. These aren't the only cases. Some may view this as organized, and that's okay. Everyone has their own view on the situation. Who's to say that anyone else with a different opinion is wrong or right?
