Profiling has been on the rise since 9/11. More and more people are being profiled just because their ethnicity and views. Middle Easterners are especially profiled as all being terrorists just because a few commit acts of sin and hatred. The acts of a few doesn't mean the rest of nation is the same. Terrorists are of all races and different backgrounds and can be anybody that enters the airport. If profiling is used, it should be used on everybody because terrorists don't always look as people think.

Torture will never be justified. Torture is 'cruel and unusual punishment' and is an evil act of hatred. Torture is used throughout the world to gain information and it strikes fear into the eyes of opponents and enemies. It is closely related to murder but goes only far enough to keep the person alive. People who torture need to think what it would be like to be tortured themselves. Some say it should be used to be safe but it will only cause more harm. Torture is a crime and it should not be used against the criminals who plague this world. We are taught to 'do unto others as they do unto you', so if we torture someone, what do we expect in return?

High school is the portal to college and the future ahead of it. Students should be able to decide where they go because it paves the way for them later in life. Some high schools offer better intelligence in certain areas and students who have to stay in certain high schools dont have the choice to be what they want to be. Some high schools are limited in developement and dont allow for students to study the field of their choice. Not being able to choose your school can suppress your ability to learn and be in the career you want to pursue.

Illegal imigrants should be deported because this affects Americans in a bad way. Often companies fire employees in order to pay illegal immigrants smaller salaries for the same job. This surge is causing much job loss in America. It's called illegal for a reason. Many hard working citizens of other countries have applied to be legal citizens and have a right to be here. Their purpose is the same yet they are patient and have earned the right to be citizens of the U.S. Many bad people enter the U.S. illegally and cause mayhem, such as 911. Letting these people in can affect the overall security and prosperity of America.

Presidents are elected to serve and guide our country. If asked to be president once more, many would say yes because they want to serve the country and its people. Change has been consistent, but sometimes change has a bad impact on society. A good president is favored by the people and he deserves to have another term if elected. The people know what is right and their decision to elect a president again is their right.

Really good presidents often serve two, four year terms in office. Some presidents are lucky to have been voted to be the president of the United States. Amercica has had very good and very bad presidents. The goods ones are voted again and the bad ones are thrown out. When America has a good president, we want to keep him as long as possible but he is limted to two terms in office. Changing presidents can affect the overall prosperity of America. Presidents should be able to serve more than two terms and if the president becomes a tyrant, we have the right to abolish and get rid of him. If presidents have the right to serve more than two terms, America will have more trust because he has had experience and makes good choices. Good choice make presidents get voted again.

Developed countries should not force developing countries to protect themselves. Developing countries don't have the good healthcare, economy, and protection that developed countries have. Developing countries have problems that they need to worry about and with no help, they wont get any better. When an epidemic, tsunami, hurricane, etc. hits the country, they now have another problem to worry about. Without help, they will never recover. Developed countries are fortunate to be able to take care of themselves, but those that are less fortunate need help. Helping the developing country not only makes it a better place, but it also makes the world a better place.

I believe that the pros outweigh the cons because after fighting for our freedom we got it and we havent lost it. America has had a long history war, slavery, racism, terrorism etc., but we still are a free and just country. The men and women that fought for rights, in the past and today, arent fighting for themselves or a certain group of people, but instead for a better America. They want other countries in the world to know that we are a free country with a population who has pride for their country. The people who fought for this country, know matter how little of a difference it would make, did it to help us keep our freedom. In the end, all of the things we did for this country were worth it to make a difference........

School kills creativity because of all the rules we are subject to follow. Our rules are created by teachers, staff, and the district and were are forced to follow them or suffer the consequences. We are allowed to wear our own clothing but the school and district strictly limits what we wear. Even in a creative class ( art, theatre arts, etc,.), we are limted to the way we express ourself. We can't make a project without rules that state what we can and can't do. The "can't list" is always bigger. Our creativity will always be controlled by the rules set down upon us.

Schools kill creativity because of all the rules we are subject to follow. We might be able to choose our own clothing but our choices are strictly limited. Schools try to block out the truths of real life by making us follow rules that people in high positions force upon us. Our creativity is limited due to the view of our teachers, staff, and the district and what they believe we should learn and shouldnt learn. Our creativity is what makes us unique and without it we are nothing. When we are ask to draw and create a project, there are still rules based on what we are not allowed have in that project or drawing. Even in a creative class, we are still limited to what we say.
