i know education is more important to me but some people prefer other things :/
No, just because someone didn't do their homework i don't think they should have to serve ASI. It is important to do your homework because it is important to get good grades in school, but sometimes people cant do their homework. Maybe that person had something going on that night like a basketball game well that student has invested a lot of time and effort in basketball they cant be expected to just not play and just do their homework. Sometimes you may have an event or something you have to do! You cannot be expected to always do your homework it is ultimately your responsibility but lets say you don't want to do your homework, well then thats your choice. You should be able to at least have a choice right?
