A hero is someone who goes beyond their powers to save people and if Superman just so happens to have special powers well atleast he uses them for good deeds and not for the bad. I think Superman is more heroic because he was given more talent to be a bigger hero! Side: Superman

On my point of view, i think superman is more heroic than batman. Superman is able to do more things than batman, and has alot more powers than batman too. Besides superman is able to safe people all day long, and batman can't he can only safe people at night. which it dosen't make any sense with batman, what would happend if something horrible was happenning during the day no one could be able to help "with out" him. this is why according to me i think superman is more heroic than batman. Side: Superman
Superman did not become a hero. He was born superman. Yes he has powers, and yes it is harder for him to be killed but the chance of him dying is the same as batman's chance. If Superman would have to do something to sacrifice himself to save the world from evil he would. Side: Superman
I think superman is more heroic because he actually goes out in the streets and saves peoples lives because its the right thing to do with th powers that he was born with. While batman is only doing this because of a personal affair that he has with the villian. Side: Superman

To start, Superman was around first. He was the person who saved people from world-dominating criminals back in the day of black and white TV. Superman didn't wear armor, he really did fly, he even battled through tragedies with kryptonite. Sure, Superman does have powers and Batman used technology on his side. Superman didn't have to mask his face. He just kept on the "DL" all the time in his real life. That's a true hero. Side: Superman
I think superman is more heroic because i think he does more then batman does such save people from dieing all day everyday. Batman can only work at night and thats dumb cause what if there is crime going on in the day then people would die while he working. Then on the other hand superman can work at any time of the or night cause he go harder Side: Superman

Superman is more heroic. He was born with his powers therefore setting him aside from all others. His powers come form within and are natural, while on the other hand all of Batmans powers come from his gadgets. Although they are both heroic and perform good deeds for the city Superman came here and started to protect the world early off while Batman started later on in his life. Side: Superman
Response to: "I think superman because batman is just a bat. So when we have a problen superman can fly with his natural born powers and save the world. Batman can to but he really can't fight because he is a bat." If you have ever seen the movie Batman Begins, in the begining he falls down a well that is filled with bats. Later on in the movie he visits the same well and over comes his fear of bats. The bat outfit is symbolic to him overcoming his fear. Side: Batman

i believe that batman is more heroic. batman risks his life knowing that he can die at any one bullet to the face any one knife to the abdomen. superman is not human, he is an alien that cant die and is not human. batman is more heroic by far because he has the guts to fight crime even though he is merely a mortal man. Side: Batman

I feel Batman Is more heroic because he is human and has more to lose yet he still fights evil every night, while thinking of others before himself. Batman is also put in realistic situations so in a way if you think about it we could have a Batman in real life as long as he has the cool gadgets. Side: Batman

Superman has weaknesses. Batman doesn't. If you were to do the math, Batman is puting himself in danger every foe he faces. One wrong move and he could be dead. On the other hand, superman has one true weakness. If a bullet were to hit him he wouldn't budge. Yes, he puts himself in danger but when you think about it, who is the true hero? Side: Batman
I can't really say who is more heroic because I have only watched a little bit of Batman and I have never watched Superman. So I will side with Batman being the most heroic. Batman not only has an awesome car but he is always helping someone, and he owns his own company. He also has a city and a pretty nice mansion. Superman well like I said I have never watched the show or movies so I don't know what is so great about him. Batman is who I am siding with. GO BATMAN! Side: Batman

I think Batman is more heroic because Superman was born with his powers where Batman has to work at what he does. He decided to help his city out and worked at it, yeah he had the money to do so, but still, he has to actually work at it, Superman was lucky enough to be born with his powers and was raised to help others, Batman was living in a bad place and decided to help out by at least trying to make it a better place. Side: Batman
I would have to say batman, because he is so ordinary. He is just this guy from the city that has this brain power to know when to go stop a crime. He doesnt have any super powers, so if he gets shot thats it. But he takes that chance, cause he wants to see things right. And he is willing to risk his life to make it happen. Side: Batman
I believe Batman to be more heroic, because Superman's power is superstregth...that is it!Out of all superhero's, Superman is the lamest! Batman has a cool, animal based power. He is smooth, and has out tons of movies...superman has none that have gone mainstream like Batman's! Side: Batman
The reason its batman is because he risks his own life to defend the weak as in for superman he cant die by a bullet. Sure superman is great. Thats why he is a SUPERHERO not hero. two different things about superhero and hero. Therefore Batman is more heroic than Superman Side: Batman

Batman grew up in a decaying environment such as Gotham City. He grew up rich and privileged, but also in despair and fear from the haunting memory of the murder of both his parents at such a young age. Yet, Batman took that inner turmoil and decided he would make a difference and fight the evil which took the lives of his parents. He gave much more than he ever received- a true hero. Side: Batman
I belive that Batman is a much better hero than Superman. A hero does not have to have supernatural powers. Batman has been puting his life on the line to help his people. By him being a normal person he show that anyone can do something to make a diffrence in the world. Side: Batman

Batman has a better reason and its because he doesnt want people or children to fall into his shoes from the past. He is secretive, and very mysterious. Superman is also mysterious but he isn't always there for people. Unlike Batman, Superman has a job while Batman is already rich and can focus on how to help people Side: Batman
Batman, by far, is the greater hero to me. He poses a greater risk to his self then superman does. Superman doesnt actually sacrifice his own life while saving others cause he knows that he will not die. It also takes more courage for Batman to do what he does because he doesnt have the powers that superman does. Side: Batman
i would have to say that batman is more heroic because to be a hero you have to help others in need. people do prefer superman because of his super powers but thats the difference between batman and superman. batman dosent have super powers and still kicks ass so im a have to say that batman is a better hero. Side: Batman
I think Batman is more HEROIC because not only is he just an ordinary person trying to help others, he doesn't do things for publicity, notice how he wears a mask and does not tell people his identity of being a hero. He saves lives without having any special powers because he truly cares about people and asks for nothing in return. Side: Batman

Batman is a more heroic character because he does not have the aid of super powers. Batman uses his intelligence to out smart the villain and bring justice. He risks his life to help out others, knowing that he could be killed at any moment. He uses the bat symbol to strike fear in the criminals. Side: Batman

Im a superman fan , but once it comes to whoes more heroic between superman and batman ill have to go with batman. Batman is not n ordnary hero, most heros have gifts or powers. Batman is just a man, i mean hes rich but hes just an ordnary man fighting crime. He has gadgets and stuff but thats all he has, he cant fly, hes not super strong, etc, hes just someone that protects Gotham City. Side: Batman

I think that batman is more of a hero than superman for the simple fact that superman was born with his powers. Who wouldnt be able to save people if they were as fast as the speed of light or could leap over tall buildings. But batman is a pure example of hard work and determination because if you think about it batman is just like me or you born by a human an raised by a human but his choices are what made him great, made him a hero Side: Batman

A hero is somebody who fully devotes them self to helping others, knowing the consequences and honors of it. In this case I would have to say that Batman is the true hero. Not only does he go out into the night to save people and Gotham city, but he does it with no super powers. Unlike Superman, Batman creates his gadgets, his plans, and his strategies. He manages to capture the villains, save the city, his love, and many civilians all at the same time. Superman has his invisible car, can fly, super strength, and x-ray vision; and does the same thing as an everyday human being does. Superman's only weakness is kryptonite, but Batman can be killed any way a normal human being can. So with these examples shown, Batman is the more heroic in this case to me. Side: Batman

Batman to me is more heroic than superman. The reason I say that is because Superman has powers and rarely gets hurt, but Batman on the other hand has no powers, he uses his mind and what he learns to help others rather than rely on super powers. To me he goes in to battle knowing he could die while superman goes to battle knowing he can't which I think is less heroic. Superman does say he will protect everyone with his life but he barely knows what that means, unlike Batman who always risks his life. Batman just seems more heroic just because hes human and still does what Superman does without powers. Side: Batman

I think Batman is more heroic just because he has more to risk. If he gets shot he could die unlike superman. Batman also went through so much more training So he could learn to fight for justice. If superman lost his powers he would be completely useless and in my opinion a coward. And aside from fighting crime at night he has a compony to run in the daytime. Somehow he manages to it all and without complaining. Side: Batman
I would have to say that Batman is more heroic that superman, because Batman has no supper powers and can die at any time. For someone who risk their life to save others thats heroic. We know that Superman is stronger and faster but he is not human that is why batman is a super human and is more heroic than any other super hero. Side: Batman
Superman is "AMAZING," he's everyones perfect ideal of a super-hero. He can pretty much do everything, x-ray vision, superhuman strength, super-fast, can fly, and so on... But I believe Batman is more heroic then Superman. Don't get me wrong Superman is a great hero and all, but Batman really is something else. Batman is a human, he is one of us. What makes Batman so heroic is even though he has no superpowers hes still out there fighting crime, doing all to protect the people, and save the world. Side: Batman
I see batman as more of a hero for the fact that he is human and can be killed at anytime. He depend all on his natural ability to fight from more of a human basis with the protection of specialy built armor. Superman is more of an alien whose adpated to earth and is pretty much a immortal to all earthly subjects. Side: Batman
Batman is so much heroic than superman. Batman can actually fight people without any super powers he actually risk his life but superman is the "man of steel" so he really doesn't have that much to worry about. Batman puts himself in way more danger that superman so that makes Batman more heroic. Side: Batman
i think batman is more heroic because he was not given special powers to protect people. He had to learn how to save peoples life, and has to learn how to take pain and still save lives. He goes out every night knowing tonight could be the night he dies. He can't take a bullet in the chest and survive, but he takes more time and puts out more effort to saves lives. He actually puts his life 2nd behind other peoples life! Side: Batman
I don't know much about each character when it comes to being a good hero. I want to say that batman could be because he gets around in a nice car and its more realistic than flying around in a cape. I guess he is using more of is own human qualities to be a Good Samaritan Side: Batman

I think batman is more heroic for two reasons. Batman is an ordinary person without super powers he doesn't need powers to fight crime hes ready to defend people not matter what the consequences are. The second reason I believe Batman's a hero is because he doesn't go around bragging about how he saves lives he does it because he believes the right thing to do.Batman goes out every defending what he believes in,not caring that he could get hurt. Im not in to superman or batman, but if i were to choose a better superhero i would choose batman. Batman is a better hero because he has natural abilities, were superman can see thought perple he can fly and stufff like that. Batman uses weapons and vehicles to get from place to place. Superman is somewhat invincible. He is able to withstand anything from a bullet to the gut or the arm. Batman, on the other hand, actually has the guts to save someone even though he does not have all the powers that can make him invincible, can make him see through walls, and shot lasers from his eyes. This is the reason why I believe that Batman is more heroic than Superman Side: Batman
Batman is more heroic because he saves people and do things with out having super powers, having people look up to him for his greatness and the things he do. Not everybody is going to or can have super powers and everyday people do heroic things everyday jus like batman do. Side: Batman
I never really watched Superman or Batman but from what i know, i think Batman is more heroic simply because he doesn't have any "special powers". He is just another human fighting evil, and has more to lose than Superman. Superman is also a hero, but he has super powers and Batman doesn't. Side: Batman

I agree, I believe Batman is more heroic than Supes. He doesn't necessarily have the powers and the capabilities that superman has, yet he stands for justice, and fights and protects the people. No matter the danger, be it a mad psychotic clown with laughing gas, and a pumped up steriod freak smashing through the city. He uses his mind and succeeds in saving the day... Batman is far more heroic than Superman. Side: Batman

I think batman is more heroic than superman because even he is an ordinary person like us, he is brave and fights for justice without any super powers. He still faces dangerous situations and help people. Batman has more self confidence because who would fight for a crime if they know that they are going to die anytime? Side: Batman
