I think that it is wrong to keep students after school for a hour and thirty minutes after we are already here for 7 hours a day. I spend more time with teachers and other students at school then I do with my family at home. That is before the ASI too. Im also involved in after school sports like track , cross-country ,football and tennis so it would be taking my time that I have for them. Side: No

I think you shouldn't have too just give them a zero on the assignment. Then there grade in the class will look bad. they can go to a class during centime and work on it not stay an hour after school people have things to do and were already at school for 7 or 8 hours. Side: No

I think students should not have to be forced to go to after school intervention ASI because. Kids that don't care about school or doing homework should be left to fail because they don't care and the people who run the ASI are honestly wasting their time with kids that don't care and if someone makes a bad grade honestly it could be both ways. They either just don't get it or don't care about the subject Side: No

Students should not be forced to go to ASI because homework is the kids own responsibility. It is the students job to complete their assignment and if they don't want to do it then they can earn a zero. Giving kids a punishment is jus going to make them cheat and find other ways not to do it. Their punishment cant be failing their class and they will learn their lesson later. Side: No
No, I think that if a student chooses not to do an assignment, then they should get punished for it by getting a 0 and not get another chance. Students make their own decisions and need to learn from them. Students ned to learn to be responsible and they won't learn if they keep getting second chances. Side: No

My old school had a better program where during cain time we would be forced to go to a room and do what we didn't finish they would go again until you got it done. this is good because people like me can't always stay after my mom needs a week in advance and that air school doesn't do that. No, just because someone didn't do their homework i don't think they should have to serve ASI. It is important to do your homework because it is important to get good grades in school, but sometimes people cant do their homework. Maybe that person had something going on that night like a basketball game well that student has invested a lot of time and effort in basketball they cant be expected to just not play and just do their homework. Sometimes you may have an event or something you have to do! You cannot be expected to always do your homework it is ultimately your responsibility but lets say you don't want to do your homework, well then thats your choice. You should be able to at least have a choice right? Side: No

I think students shouldn't have to go to ASI, If they didn't finish a paper. I think this, because a student be able to skip a question on a paper and not get in trouble. This should be able to happen. Now if the student is skipping a lot of questions each and very day, then ASI should come in. Side: No

i dont think they should because if u think about it some kids get sent to it because they don't do one of the questions thats not right... and plus who the heck wants to stay after school for an hour people have lives you know... like were kids let us have fun don't keep us in school for an hour like c'mon is not ok i mean its ok if you get it if u just flat out don't do it but i think if u don't complete it like you don't understand it then they shouldn't give you it Side: No

Students shouldn't have to go to ASI just for not doing a little assignment. If they don't want to do their work then that's their problem. I honestly think teachers should just put in a 0 for the missing assignment. All teachers care about is getting good grades. They never think about the students' lives outside of school. Some kids have a lot of after school activities to do and might forget about homework. Other kids might have a lot on their plate dealing with family issues, so those kids could have more important things on their mind rather than remembering to do homework. It also gets super overwhelming when teachers pile on homework, so students get stressed out about getting it all done. When this happens, we forget about some homework we were suppose to do. There are a lot of reasons that students have for not completing their homework. Although some kids deliberately don't do their homework. This is why I believe students should not have to go to ASI when they don't complete an assignment. Side: No

I dont think thaw we should have ASI because we didn't finish a paper. I feel like a caintime is a better punishment, because then we get the help that we need and we don't have to stay after school because no one wants to do that. We don't want to stay after school we have life's too. We get busy and don't always have time to finish the home work you give us. Side: No
It shouldn't be like that because as you get older, teachers will pile more and more homework on you, especially if you are in pre ap classes, and sometimes teachers will give you so much that you just can't get it all done, I should know because it has happened to me numerous times. Side: No

Yes/no but i have to go more with no. An hour and a half is way to long, we should only have to go for that assignment and just go. Honestly i feel like teachers have no respect for students , we have things to do after school. Thats why we're here for 7 hours. If students don't do the assignment , then thats their fault. They shouldnt have a second chance. Side: No
