Serveillance is usually never uneeded. It is not here to invade our privacy, hence there are no cameras in the bathrooms or even classrooms. They are simply here to protect us and make sure we follow the rules that also protect us from harm. The current level at this school is the same as most places only its visible here.

Surveillance camera's are needed in the school for many reasons. One we have laptops which cost lots of money and could easily be stolen. Also during the night people could break into the school and steal expensive things like projectors and computers. I believe that the cameras are for good reasoning and are needed almost everywhere in todays society.

Cameras being needed is a must. The reason why i suggest this is simply because of the things that are in this building such as laptops, computers, money, food, vending machines, school store, supplies, and locker rooms. If you remember the columbine high school shootings, if the shooters were to get away or escape somehow, we would be able to figure out who they were because of the surveillance cameras. Where there is a lot of people, violence and fights are bound to happen. All in all, cameras are needed no matter what.

I do think video surveillance at school is needed because lets say an incident at school happened and they dont know who it is, so since they have no proof it be alot easier to punish everyone, but if they did have proof they would punish only the person who caused the incident.

I belivee that surveillance cameras would be very useful for this school system because it would make this a safer and better environment for students to study and learn. Imagine a school in which lab tops are not stolen and people's property are not messed with or stolen. That is the kind of school that I would like to attend. If someone stole something that belonged to you, all you would have to do is go to the police and ask them to look at the tape of where your item was stolen and they would see who stole it.

i think that surveillance video is needed because this school has people that steal stuff like computers and phones, so we need a way to find out who they are.

I beleive that we need them for 1 reason say that someone stole something of yours and you dont know who did it then they could just look at the camera and find out who did it then you could get what ever they took back. so thats the main reason why i think we need cameras.

I guess it is necessary because sometimes something valuable, for example a trophy, is stolen and the police are trying to figure out who stole it. With the help of video surveillance, the cops can find out who stole the trophy. Also, I believe that video surveillance should be needed because it keeps the school safe from people who steal and others who do something bad.

I believe that video surveillance is a right that we get. We do not need the cameras, but we have them in case of emergency. For instance, what would happen if some kid gets beat up in a hidden spot, but there is a camera hidden there. Then you could check the cameras to catch your criminal. People believe that there are officers in an office watching us 24/7, that is not the case here at this school. So, that is the reason I believe video surveillance is needed.

Yes, because if two guys get into a fight and nobody said who started the problem, you can see what happened in the video cameras.

surveillance is needed at school becouse you are in a building with hundreds of people. remember that laptops are stolen, and it would be better if you could find out who stole it.. also people who enter the school without permision.

I do feel that video surveillances are needed in the school that way we don't have to have crime watchers, or say something happens in the hall and no one knows who did it they can just check the cameras. I do believe the kids who act up are the ones who don't want video surveillance in the school. If they were to get caught doing some thing wrong it is possible they could learn their lesson and quit acting up in the hall ways.

I think video survenillance is needed where it needs to be. Because things go missing, and they could use the camera to track the person down, if the camera do work, if so they should know who they people are and what has happen in they school,but not in unnecessary places.

This school absolutely needs video surveillance cameras. Hundreds of thousands of kids go to this school and some might steal a laptop, a cellphone, money, or something else that seems more valuable. The surveillance video footage will help find the perpetrator that caused the theft or the fight. It is also a reminder that there are others watching what we do and don't do.

Surveillance video is very important at school as i see it. It really helps bad students cause you can always go back in the video and bust them. Their very important there is always missing things, people steling in locker rooms and last food fights. With cameras they can see what all happen or who strted the trouble. It also helps out if we were under lock down, it would help out by watching the bad guy.

Surveillance is good. The cameras can warn us if they are any danger in the school. Like someone who has a gun. The cameras who see that person and they can warn us that there is a intruder in the school. Also the school can go on lock down. So in the long run cameras can really help us. Even through we don't like them. But the cameras will keep us safe from danger. so if we do ever get in danger i will be glad that we had cameras.
