I think it is better to be respected because money is definatley not everything. You could be the richest person on Earth and you could still not be happy. If people respect you, then that's all that matters. True happiness is not judged by how much money you have.

It is better to be well respected because if you have other peoples respect you have the power of speaking your mind, ideas and getting your point across. If you are just wealthy with no respect people will see you as a rich person they can run over and abuse, plus anyone can become wealthy but not everyone can have others respect.

I believe that it is much better to be well respected rather than be wealthy. Respect is never ending, but the same cannot be said for wealth.

Respect is something that doesn't come as easily as money. Wealth has nothing to do with true love or true happiness. being respected is so much more of a challenge in life than just simply having lots of money. I think being well respected goes hand in hand in being a good person. When i die i would like to die with respect and leave a legacy behind not just the rest of my money.

The definition of respect is esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability. According to the definition, I feel that it is better to be well respected because I feel that people know you more on a personal level. When you are wealthy, most people focus on the aspect that they know that your wealthy, therefore they are more likely to use you for your money. Contrary to that, when you are well respected, people know you on a private level; and they are more interested in what you have to contribute, rather than just your money. With that being said, I think it is better to be well respected.

I think its better to be respected, because if you have money people really will respect you for a little while then when the money is gone then what??? If you have respect you might not have a lot of money but people will respect you.

I believe that it is better to be well respected than wealthy, because like it says your respected well. When you have respect you get what you need. Money can't always buy happiness but respect can get you further in life. Money can't buy respect and if so I believe that is low down because its not always a guarantee that its true respect.

I think it's better to be well respected then being wealthy. Wealth doesn't last if you don't know how to save your money, but being well respected will last you a lifetime. When your respected people will help you when you need it. People say that when you have a lot of money you become a greedy lonely person.

The reason I think its better to be respected is because with respect you could work your way up and have the oppurtunity to be wealthy. Every one knows that the only thing better then being just respected or just wealthy is being both wealthy and to be respected.
