Human's have a need to be loved, no matter who they are. With fear it may be nice in some ways, but not overall. I think people need the love of others, to love others, and to express feelings in life; it's what keeps us going. With fear it makes it hard to connect on a deeper level, or to show who you truly are. Sure you'll get more respect, but the feeling of being respected will grow weary, and sooner or later you'll need the feeling of being loved.

If you are loved people respect you and know they can come to you for anything. But if you are feared, not even your best friends will talk to you or even visit. Thats the power of fear, but would you want to live like that, rather than be shown respect and love by everyone who you consider friends. The big difference is people who are feared will always be alone and never be told the truth or when they make a mistake, because thier friends don't want to upset them. But being loved everyone can tell you your flaws so they help you be a better person and that gives them more of a reason to respect you.

There is a saying that says "the only thing to fear is fear its self." Now I’m not exactly sure of who said this but I believe that it is a true statement and not a opinion. So since there s nothing to fear why not be loved. It's pretty much a human need anyways. Everyone should have the emotion of love within them some place. I mean maybe being feared by people give a kind of sense that you'll have power but no one really has power. Basically its an opinion on this argument and no ones bound to win this one. But like I said their is nothing fear but fear its self. So i chose to be loved.

When you are feared you don't have anybody that cares about you. If you think they care about you, it is probably because they fear you and are afraid to tell you no they do not care about you. When some one loves you, it is the greatest feeling in the world and the people that would rather be feared will never experience that.

Well, I believe that is is better to be loved. Like others have mentioned, it is a human need. People will trust you, and care for you than if you were to feared.

i believe that its better to be loved than feared because if you are loved you are more able to have more respect from people and you are less likely to have any enemies as well. If you are feared then you are less likely to be hated by many and people of course aren't going to want to be around you. If you are loved then your most likely to get somewhere in life than someone who is feared and will be alone in the world.

I think that Its better to be loved because when your loved it means that every little flaw and imperfection is accepted. When your loved people are willing to do anything for you "willingly."When your feared you will be respected and people will do what ever its is to please you regardless of how wrong that person could be. They could fear them show them the "signs" of love but behind that "feared persons"back they're not loved ,that person is just scared.

It is better to be loved then to be feared; this argument is similar to, "would it be better to be respected or feared." There's this saying I've heard before in support of its better to be loved that states, "if someone fears you, they'll just wait for the perfect moment when you least expect it, or when you turn your back they will strike at you."

i think its always better to be loved than feared or hated.

people that actually like you would show respect and their love back. also when ever you know that you are loved you are happy and you know that you don't have enemies. enemies is the worst thing that happen in your life, bacuase they try to harm or play ariound with your feelings. loved is the best thing that can happen in your life, because you can trust anyone and you know that they will be there when you need them.

People should be loved by other people.

If you are loved by other people you are respected.

If people respect you they can come talk to you easily.

They can tell you their problems, so you can help them as much as you can.

I think that it is better to be loved because i think that people appreciate you more, they trust you, they respect you, and think about you in a good way.
