There are many problems with having illegal immigrants in a country. One reason is taxes. Every American citizen pays taxes but illegal immigrants don't which is unfair. That means we pay more taxes and they don't pay anything. Another reason is it's the law that you have to be a citizen to live here or have a file for citizenship and if we let them continue to live here this country would be going against everything it stands for by breaking the law. One more reason is crime. We don't need anymore crime than we already have and we shouldn't have to put up with illegal immigrants' crimes. If they want to live here, they should take the time to file for citizenship and go through all the procedures instead of taking advantage of this country that we, americans have built over time.

The deportation of illegals immigrants is fairly just, because in technical terms it's federal crime under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by an Alien," stating that entering the United States while avoiding the proper entry procedures or evading immigration stations or officers is a federal crime. My position on illegal immigration is not one of an opinion nor moral issue, but a legal issue. Although many citizens of the United States are immigrants from foreign lands, only the ones that have followed the set procedure should be allowed to say. Many people say that this nation was founded upon immigrants, but times have changed and laws have been formed to prevent urban sprawl. There is a way to not be deported, and that is to be a legal citizen, and if they are denied, they must follow the process like any other person should, because bypassing these methods will ensue consequences.

I believe the deportation of illegal immigrants acceptable and favorable. When immigrants come to the United States illegally not only do they take the jobs of legal Americans but they also add on to population growth which in all could potentially damage the economy. Back in the 1920's many immigrants came to the U.S. because they wanted the feeling of freedom but the outcome led to housing issues, employment issues as well a baby boom which increased the population and damaged the economy. So why let history repeat itself, deportation of illegal immigrants should be strongly supported by U.S. citizens.

Illegal immigrants are exactly what their name says they are, illegal. People say it is racist to want to deport immigrants, but the plain truth is it isn't. I don't care if it's an American who goes to the U.K.; if they are illegal, then they should be deported. If the immigrant wants to legaly become a citizen then I have no problem with them, but if they come illegally then they are harming the country. Illegal Immigrants can not aquire legal jobs because they are illegal, which means that they have to find other ways to make money. Jobs that should go to a citizen of the country are taken away by cheap illegal labor. Illegals also have a tendency to make money and send it back to their families in their original countries, which is a double-blow to the economy. This takes a citizen's job, then sends it to be put into another countries economical system. Illegal Immigrants should be deported, not because of racism, but for the financial safety of the country.

Illegal immigrants come into the US and take the jobs of many Americans because they work for less pay. In an atmosphere of a reccession this is a really bad thing because Americans right now need to keep their jobs so that the unemployment rate will decrease and the economy can become stable again. Illegal immigration isn't fair to all the other people who want to come to the US but aren't able to. If people from other countries want to immigrate to the US then they should do it the proper way and complete all the required paperwork and pay all the fees to get in, if they don't then they should be sent back home.

People who are not yet citizens of the U.S. come here often to find jobs, but most people in America have to work to get food on the table. Illegal immigrants are just filling job slots out, not paying taxes, and making it, while some hardworking Americans, who cannot find a job, have families here that need food on the table, and have to pay taxes. For whatever reason, these immigrants came to America to find a better life, but while they’re creating a better life for themselves, they’re making it hard on the people who have been citizens all of their life. It also creates more tension between the people of America and the government, because while the government knows these illegal immigrants are out there taking jobs, they’re still loading taxes on American’s shoulders. Although the government can’t get every single immigrant out there, they’re trying their hardest to. Immigrants who come to America, and try to become a citizen, I have nothing against. It’s the immigrants who come to America and take our jobs away from us who I don’t support.

Illegal immigrants end up reaping the benefits of a nation they do not belong to, and that just isn't right. Jobs, housing, food stamps...things like that are earned by legal working citizens here. They wouldn't want us going to their country and taking their job, house, medical attention or meals away from them, so they shouldn't do it here. I'm aware that becoming a legal citizen of any country takes quite a bit of time and money, but if they want to be here that badly, and if our country is as good as they believe it is, I feel it's worth it. I also know that different people are in different situations, but regardless, people should come here legally instead of cheating their way across borders. Cheating is for golf, not immigration.

They're over populating the country. I do understand that they come here to have a better life, but it still doesn't change they fact that there are way too many. The government even gives them money to help support themselves to live over here. It's not right, because that money can be used to help somebody who was actually a born citizen of the U.S. The U.S made living here suitable for them too, like in stores they have signs in both English and Spanish. They should know how to read and speak our language. They need to go back to their area, but the U.S should do something to help them out and not have to have them come here.

There are plenty of people here in the United States and we are allowed to let in a certain amount of each "group" i guess you could call it every year. If some one wants to be here they just need to go through the proper steps. Now if it is some one who has been here for years and years, their whole family is here, and they would be leaving people behind that need them then no it shouldnt and they should have a chance to get their papers with a person telling them what exactly they have to do and if they don't in a certain amount of time then they can be deported. They have already had ample amounts of time yes but they may have not gotten to know what to do, where to go, and they could have been scared that they were going to be deported if they tried. The US is a place many people come to start a new life and to do better for them than their parents could do for them. The ones that go through the hassel of getting the paper work are the ones that deserve to be here. I'd say they want it the most cause they are willing to do anything to be here including have the possibility to be rejected. You shouldn't sneak in anywhere. It's more dangerous to be caught. When you are illegal and you get caught you go to jail here and then if you don't fix it with in about a week you are gone and out of here, but yet your in jail and you can't fix it unless you have help outside.

I believe that deportation of illegal immigrants is the correct way for us to show the ongoing flow of illegals crossing over and coming to our country which is not the right way and by deporting the illegals we show the new comers that keep coming in to our country that its not right for anyone to cross into our borders without our governments legal consent. Its also not fair to those immigrants that go through long process of waiting for their visas to approve over the years as compared to the illegals that just come into our country without doing any of those things that are required for anyone to do in order to get permenantly settled here. Whenever there is a new illegal in our country he/she takes over the job of someone is unemployed currently and is legally living in the US, so the illegals who dont get deported can take over the jobs for anyone who is legally living.

Having illegal immigrants in our country causes numerous problems. A lot of Americans are having trouble finding jobs. People from other countries often immigrate to America because of things like jobs and health care. We can't afford to have our jobs being taken by people that aren't even supposed to be here. If they really want to live in America, they need to legally become an American. It's not an easy process to become a citizen, but you gotta do what you you gotta do.

America was fought and created by immigrants because we are a nation of many people. America would definitively not be what it is today without the huge migrations of the worlds people to create the melting pot of ideas to form our culture. Yet this nation was created legal immigrants people that were tested and bought their right to come here. My ancestor was a Russian Jew that escaped the pressures of the Russian Orthodox church. But he didn't just sail into New York he was tested medically and mentally through Ellis Island until he was accepted. I will admit that Illegal immigrants do the manual labor and crap jobs that no one else would do ,but the only reason that no one would do the job is that the jobs are already taken. Foreign countries whether across the sea or in our very state have slowly taken over a huge part of the jobs leaving a large American workforce with no where to go. I very much support immigrantion but i think there needs to be a reopening of a Ellis Island type building in the south.

The reason why many people are in America illegally, is because our country is so great compared to others. If illegal immigrants were allowed to come to America freely, it would be a whole new country. Although we do have many illegal immigrants, they try to stay hidden from society so they don't get deported back to their own country. This causes somewhat of a recluse lifestyle. Because most illegal immigrants lack of English, they can cause an increase in crime rate. Though America can't set a ban on illegal immigrants, we have to be aware of what can happen to our country that which we must have an end to.

I support the deportion of illegal immigrants because if they really wanted to be an American they should go through all of the test that other immigrants took. It's not fair to those who had worked sp hard to become one of us. When they do get over here, they don't go by our rulse or regulations, they think that they can just take an advantage of their freedom.

If they want to be here immigrants should come to America the legal way instead of breaking the law, and since they came over here illegally they don't have any kind of right to be here. I believe that if they are illegal AND they commit another crime they should be deported because we shouldnt tolerate someone who isnt supposed to be here who is making a legal citizen's life worse.

I do not support the deportation of illegal immigrants because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live in America. To people who are not Americans, America is seen as the land of "Milk and Honey" where all your dreams can come true. Only in America can someone from a poor family become a millionaire. Children in America do not have to pay for school, they just have to have the urge to learn as to other countries where there are school fees. American teens can go to college If poor, there are grants, student loans, and financial aid to help them. In other countries If you don't have money, you're basically stuck in the situation you're in. People from other countries come to America because It gives them an opportunity to better themselves and their children. Why should we deport people who have come here to better themselves while there are Americans who don't advantage of the opportunities they are given?

Well, your argument about paying for education is wrong. Costa Rica pays for all school including college, so no, America does not have the best education system.

By making it nearly impossible for many people to come to America, the government has brought this dilemma of deportation on themselves. In today's society, many people dream of coming to America to make something of their lives and do an honest living. These are the people who truly make up the ideal population in America and deserve to stay here, legalized or not. It is the corrupt views of people who believe they are better than others that causes this topic to be debatable. Most people can commit a crime and walk away with a mere warning, as opposed to illegal immigrants who get caught doing something and are immediately taken away. The government talks about being fair to everyone but it is clear that "everyone" is only who they want them to be.

Many poeple want to deport illegal immigrants because they say they are taking their jobs or houses but if they are working hard for those things is it really wrong? If a person came to this country illegally but then got a job started working bought a house with that money that he had worked for and lived here then he is entitled to all those things. Those things should not be forcefully taken away from him just because he couldn't wait 10 years for a horribly broken amnesty system to process his information. Illegal immigration is just as the name says, illegal, but many people who do immigrate do so because of many factors such as trying to find a better life or escape from dangerous countries. When your homeland is being ruled by a dictator with people bein taken away and killed every single day you can't afford to wait years upon years hoping for a very slim chance of gaining entry into the country. If an illegal immigrant has been working hard for several years to gain the things he has accomplished such as owning a home and having a family then the government does not have the right to just take all that hardwork away from them. Illegal immigrants are necessary and make up so many obs that if they were to all be deported then our economy would be hit tremendously hard and would end up in a horrible state. If an illegal immmigrant has been working hard for all the time that he has been in this cuntry then he should not have to leave for no better reason than a corrupted and badly built system.

I dont think that they should be deported because, well, there already here. You might as well let them go through procedure of becoming a citizen of whatever country they are currently reciding in. They can just as easily become a citizen in either countries. And if you dont even give them a chance to stay, then thats unfair.Say, If a person does all they can to become a legal resident, but they just werent able to get it the paper work. It forces them to go into the country as an illegal. They start working, find a home and family, they live there for a couple of years, then they get deported. I dont think thats right. They have a family and a life there. making them go back would just make them come back illegaly. thats why i dont agree.

I think that illegal immigrants should be able to stay in the United States because even though they are considered illegal, they should still just get the opportunity to be in the country. The immigrants that come to this country and get a green card are doing the right thing, but there may be legitimate reasons as to why others didn't bother to get one, and should be able to have the chance to get one before being removed from the country. If instead of wasting the tax money on sending the illegal immigrants away, there could be a mass change to make all of the immigrants into citizens which would help our country because everyone would be registered. Some of the immigrants are coming to our country for a better opportunity, and while they made the mistake of coming here illegally, we shouldn't punish them by sending them away, but allow them to take an opportunity to become a real citizen.

Illegal immigrants come to America in hope of a better life. It is cruel to deport people back to a life of hardships after they went through so many obstacles to reach their destination. The American government should put themselves in the shoes of these people who have low paying jobs without support for their families or a poor educational system for their children. They may have broken the law by crossing the border illegally, but they don't have the money to afford an escape legally.
