Illegal immigrants should be deported regardless of the situation or cause of there entering the country illegally. People should not get to bend the rules for themselves when there are hundreds and thousands out there who would give anything for a chance to live in America. The difference between those people and illegal immigrants is that those people will go through the system and enter the right and legal way. We assume that everyone should get a chance to live in America and that as long as they have a job then illegals are ok. But what if it was a group of extremist taliban muslims who enter the country illegally. Would you still feel that way? Illegal immigrants are called illegal for a reason and there is no justification of them entering the country illegally when so many others have to wait.

The deportation of the illegal immigrants is good for the U.S. citizens that are here legally already. It is good for the legal U.S. citizens because they're already here working hard and legal, and it is not right for illegal immigrants to just come into the country and take jobs from people who are already residents of the U.S. If immigrants want to come here then they have every right, as long as they come legally by learning the primary language, English, getting a passport or "green card" and the other following rules and laws that are required to be here legally. We are all immigrants to the U.S, and many have already gained their rights to be here and have a job to work at, it is not right, for others who did not even try to achieve being legally right to enter this country, as well as take jobs and much more.

In the US we are in what most may call a "recession". Immigrants are just adding to our problems that we face on a daily basis like jobs, food, and etc. It is nothing personal against immigrants by far. It is just hard enough for us citizens to find jobs as it is. Especially With people being cheap and hiring immigrants who work for less than minimum wage, just trying to make a bit of money. Also they are committing a crime and we would as a country be an accomplice to this very crime.

Illegal immigrants should be deported for obvious reasons. First they fill up jobs that could be given to rightful citizens. Secondly they don't pay taxes because they arn't in the city's system as a citizen. But there are exceptions some immigrants do pay taxes and live like a normal citizen in which case have no logical reason to be deported. So all who don't fall into that exeption should be deported.

How hard is it to put it in a little extra effort and get a green card before coming to the United States? Most immigrants want to come here for a better life and better jobs, so why risk getting deported when all you have to do is become legal. If immigrants want to come to the United States and have a better life, then they should start by doing everything it takes to be illegal, instead of taking the easy way out and coming illegally. They should have to work as hard as the people who are legal. Some reasons they should be deported are; Foreigners will not have the right to vote no matter how long they're here, they will never be able to hold political office, all business will be conducted in English not Spanish, they may not protest, etc. Some of them should just save thereself the time, and stay in there country. They wouldn't risk getting in trouble with the law or having to "stay under the radar" all the time.

People who are living here illegaly is very wrong and unfair to those who are here legally and working hard, paying their taxes, and keeping up with the job they deserve and have rightfully earned. It is not fair to those who come in and have their jobs taken away by someone who shouldn't even be here, or is illegal. If we did not deport any illegal immigrants than their would be an unbalance system in the population because they will over populate a huge region and the region they come from is abandoned. That will mess up the economy in both regions, and is unfair to the overpopulated, innocent region with the legal people living in it. If you want to live somewhere do it the right way, the legal way.

There is over 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. today. And over 25% of them make up for the federal prison population. Illegal immigrants are not paying taxes, and when they drive, it's without a license and insurance. Illegal immigrants open America to even more crimes, gangs, traffic accidents, diseases...

I do support the deportation of illegal immigrants because they are coming in and taking away potential jobs and money from legal United States citizens. It could be argued that the process of becoming legal is too long or expensive, but it is something that must be done. Deporting illegal immigrants helps to open jobs up to legal citizens, and it also helps lower the crime rate.

Although this land is the land of immigrants, illegal immigrants should be deported to their native countries. If an illegal immigrant is caught doing illegal things, yes it should be deported to its country. If they do not respect our country why should we welcome them in? Some may just come for jobs hoping for a better future and those immigrants are the ones who should seek legal help to become citizens after background checks and several tests.

For one, they're here illegally. Ths U.S. has a standard set of rules for coming into the country like all, or most, developed countries have. So, therefore, they're braking our laws and if we just let them in without enforcing authroity, that gives us another tarnish to our all ready rotting "always the good guy" look. In light of the deportation maybe making a significant dent in our economy I can understand why people are reluctant, but I highly doubt that closing off that vein will do anything drastic. The U.S. all ready has many unemployed Americans as is. Plus, fewer people means less pollution.

Illegal imigrants should be deported because this affects Americans in a bad way. Often companies fire employees in order to pay illegal immigrants smaller salaries for the same job. This surge is causing much job loss in America. It's called illegal for a reason. Many hard working citizens of other countries have applied to be legal citizens and have a right to be here. Their purpose is the same yet they are patient and have earned the right to be citizens of the U.S. Many bad people enter the U.S. illegally and cause mayhem, such as 911. Letting these people in can affect the overall security and prosperity of America.

The deportation of illegal immigrants is not the best method to solving the immigration problem because some families get separated and get put back in dangerous situations. But, everyone should understand that there are ways to go about becoming legal in a land whose foundation is made of immigrants.

Illegal immigrants should have just the same amount of freedom and respect as we do. The word, "alien" shows no respect whatsoever. One of the biggest reasons why people have migrated into the United States is to seek a better life, for themselves and their family. There are a lot of poor countries out there that can't supply the same help as we can. Such as; jobs, careers, universities, and money. They come in no harm, just to prosper their life. I'm sure its been brought to everyone's attention that Hispanics are the ones that clean building, do construction, mow yards, mechanic work and so fourth. If we eliminate those who help our country, who is going to do it then? A lot of the immigrants are illegal because they do not have the money to pay for their papers which is why they come here to gain that money. We should give everyone an opportunity to live the life they want to.

Illegal immigrants. They shouldn't be deported just because they weren't born in the U.S. They are just here to make a better living for them and for their families. It doesn't matter what country they came from, we are humans and have the same right to pursue our happiness. So what if some of them don't know english, they can learn. Everyone has a place in this world, some might run a country and others may wash dishes behind a dirty restaurant.

I think that when the immigrants are caught, they should be allowed to apply for citizenship. If and when that happens, they should also be required to pay taxes to level our economy.

This topic isn't in black and white. It doesn't specify certain situations that could change an individuals opinion. I'm interpreting that this question is refering to ALL illegal immigrants, and basing my argument off of that. There are many prejudism towards illegal immigrants, but it is not fair to judge everyone of them based on others actions.

Although the national security is jeopardized with having illegal aliens within the US borders, many illegal aliens are harmless and only trying to build a better life for themselves, a chance for prosperity that will hopefully improve the lives of their descendents. It can be argued that the foundation for the US was actually based off of immigrants traveling from European nations and wiping out the native populations – I have to ask how that differs from events today, with immigrants only wanting freedom but don't kill others to obtain it. Yes, laws should be followed accordingly, but deporting illegal aliens who have been within the US for majority of their lives, who haven't committed any crimes and have lived a quiet and productive life, are still considered outlaws, and by deporting them, the US, a nation that believes in “the pursuit of happiness”, destroys multiple lives by taking away a provider of a family. Reports on the news detail deportation cases where parents are uprooted because they are illegal, and they lose rights to their American-born childrens. Illegal aliens can be put in a jail cell for years for the sole reason that they didn't have the right papers to breathe in the air of the US. Illegal aliens, if they have not committed heinous crimes, should be given their papers, if only for their family's sake, for their American children, since it seems only Americans receive justice.

They may take many jobs and house many relatives, but most of their intentions are harmless. They just wanted to escape all the pressures of reality, which would be pain, stress and poverty. In Some parts of Mexico, gangs rape young women and children on a daily basis. Gang rape goes unpunished in Mexico. In Mexico, people drive quickly and don't even stop when someone is in front of them. My friend lost his 9 year old cousin that way and the police did not do one thing about it. I know there are bad immigrants, but do all the others need to suffer. Yes, they can get a green card, but how much would it cost and long would that take. They could die at any moment waiting and most are living on a small income and probably would have to go many days without eating to save up for their family.

Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.... This is a statement about the Statue of Liberty. If we are telling all of these people to come to America land of the free, why are we so surprised when they come? I dont believe we should

Illegal immigrants that cause or have caused problems in the country should be deported back to their native country, but not illegal immigrants that actually work hard to make the economy of where they live better. If an immigrant gets arrested for whatever reason or gets stopped by a cop and is found doing something wrong, i believe they should get deported because it's really not fair for the country to have to deal with more trouble makers than what it already has. But I really think that the governmet should help those that just come here to work hard and get the low paying jobs that nobody else wants. They should be forced to pay their taxes if they want to become citizens one day and so that it's fair to everyone else.

Everyday there are people that get deported because they're here illegaly. They consist of adults and young kids. Deportation should be stopped, nothing good comes out of it.The only thing that ends up happening is people being stripped away from their family and being sent back to their homeland. What's so bad about them being here? most of them just come here to start a better life. What if you were an illegal immigrant who just came here to start a better life and all of a sudden you get deported?

I understand that the deportation of immigrants is done for the safety and security of our country, but I do not think it is right for people to get deported. The reason is because all those people come to the U.S. for a better life, just like the plgrims did in 1620.Instead of sending them back to their country we should grant them the opportunity to do so. Most of the people have forgotten that America is made up of immigrants who came here in search of hope and a better life.

Deportation of illegal immigrants should not be allowed. Most illegal immigrants immigrated here to the United States of America in order to find a better life, for freedom and liberty, for an opportunity to get a job, and etc. Who are we to deprive them of those rights by kicking them out of the U.S.? The US constitution clearly states that men have three unalienable rights: The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If, we deport illegal immigrants, that would be violating their third unalienable right. We would be depriving them from their pursuit of happiness, which should be considered illegal.

The American dream is the seek of success, prosperity and wealth through hadwork. The first reason why illegal aliens come to the United States to seek a better life. Sometimes they are part of countries that are corrupted and they are forced to pay some fees in order to travel legally. For examplin Cameroon, a small countrie in central Africa, in order to get your passport you need to pay 22,000,000FCFA which would be like $4,500. Most people do not have that much amount. I do not support the deportation of illegal immigrants because there some that come here in search of a better life. In other countries there are not as many opportunities as there are here. Many come from third world countries and make very little money. There is also a lot of violence and many countries and people may be putting their lives at stake on a daily basis. Some people like children are not even fault because their parents choose to bring them over here. So they are not at fault. Without illegal immigrants some would have to lower their pride and start doing it.
