Without the deportation of illegal immigrants already being active, the U.S. would be much more populated than it is today, causing land to be fought over, demand to increase, and supply to dwindle. Jobs are already a tough goal for most families who have lived as a U.S. citizen for their whole life, sometimes more tough than for illegal immigrants to earn work income. It is unfair to those who loyally work for the U.S. to have illegal immigrants take those opportunities and income away from them, as problems like overcrowding, higher taxes, and taken money hinder all families in the U.S. Illegal immigrants are stealing away the hard work others want to earn.

Illegal immigrants should be deported if they are caught. Most immigrants are smart enough not to get caught, so it balances out. What I mean is that the government shouldn't spend millions of dollars hunting them down. So if you come across one, and he/she slips up, then yeah, go ahead and deport them. However, wanting to rid America totally of these people is a bad move, because then business owners will not jumpstart the economy, and then everything goes down. So yes, deport them, IF you can catch'em.

My answer is not due to emotional hatred of illigal immigrants, but because they don't have to pay taxes like registered citizens do. The fact that there are hundreds of thousands of people who aren't pulling their own weight in our country blows my mind, and I think it is completely unfair to the rest of the public. Why should my parents have to pay federal taxes when people are living in America for free of charge?

All should abide by the law. In order to prevent this occurence, immigrants should consider becoming a legal citizen before trespassing on land that they do not orginally reside on. Eventually, one way or another, they would be required to. Deportation should to make the process much easier(if not resolve).

The whole situation just seems like common sense. If you aren't a citizen, then the law doesn't require you to live like all citizens in the same area (pay taxes, bills, have a social security number, have insurance). All in all, becoming a legal citizen would be more beneficial to yourself and to the country you plan to make your home.

I support the deportation of illegal immigrants simply because these illegal aliens don't pay taxes and aren't considered a citizen of the United States. Most immigrants come over to the US to have a better life, but in reality, they are just hurting our economy and raising our population. In my opinion, if you come over to the US illegally, you are not up to any good and should be sent back to their country.

This also isn't fair to the children who are born from illegal parents. Because they are born on US soil, they are considered citizens of the United States. To fix this growing problem, the government should find illegal aliens quicker and send them back before they are able to have kids in America. All in all, illegal immigrants should not be allowed in America.

Illegal immigrants shouldn't be allowed to live somewhere that they haven't become a legal citizen of, but I do think they should be given a chance to apply for everything they need and take tests to become a citizen after they've been deported and realized the risks of being illegal. If a person wants to be a citizen of a different country so badly, they should apply for a Visa and take care of whatever they need to in order to become a part of that country legally. Taxes legal citizens pay are going towards healthcare and education for everyone in hospitals and schools, and if you aren't legal and part of that tax-paying system, then you're benifiting from everyone else's hard work without aiding them, and are stealing from the people who have become legal citizens. It's well worth all of the paperwork and time to sort something out the correct way and not run the risk of being pushed back out of the country they want so badly to be part of.

Even though I know their life was hard where they came from, it doesn't make it fair for everyone in America.

Illegal immigrants don't have the same rights as citizens, but they also have a bit more freedom. They don't have all the responsiblity that comes with being a citizen like paying taxes. Not all, but a lot of illegal immigrants are involved in crime, sometimes because they have a harder time finding jobs and they have to resort to stealing.

I support the deportaiton of illegal immigrants because immigrants don't have to pay taxes, and that is not fair for a legal person in America that pays their taxes every year. Illegal immigrants come here in search for new jobs and sometimes they do take the job that an American could have.

I support the deportation of illegal immigrants. I feel that if someone wants to be in this country to have better oppurtunities for themselves or their families they should gain their legal residency in this country and pay taxes like every legal person in this country has to. I don't think that legal citizens should have to pay for illegal people's children to go to school when they don't even pay for it.

Illegal immigrants should be deported because when they come to America to "experience a better life" and get "more privelages" they're just taking advantage of the US government. I'm not racist, but I do believe that there should be justice within our nation because that is what's promised to us.

I agree with the deportation of illegal immigrants. Even though they come here to try to make their life better and get good job oppurtunitys, if anyone is not legal I do not believe they should be able to live here. First off, because they do not pay taxes while everyone else has too.

I didnt finish :(

I do support the deportation of illegal immigrants because they are illegal. I think they should come over here legally and have all the responsibilities that others do. Paying taxes is a perfect example because it isn't fair that legal citizens have to pay while they don't. Tax-payers also have to pick up the slack from people not paying hospital bills and other overlly priced bills they can't afford. I know people say that they work on the jobs that no one else wants, but

The deportation of illegal immigrants is ineffective and destructive. Despite a high possibility of deportation, multitudes of illegal immigrants make their way into the United States every year, and only a small percentage are discovered, and even fewer are actually sent back to their countries of origin. In addition, deportation results in broken families, devastated as their son, father, cousin, is forced to leave their home in the United States and is sent back to their original country. Some might say that deportation is necessary to control the population and leave job opportunities and such open to legal citizens, but by now illegal immigrants, or those that were illegal originally, are such a major part of the American workforce that, should deportation become more effective and actually rid the country of most illegal immigrants, the American economy would be destroyed, perhaps to a point beyond repair.

I do not supposrt the deportation of illegal immigrants. Granted, the immigrants came to America illegally, trying to pursure a better life is not illegal. In the Constitution, it is stated that the basic rights of every human is the "right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness".

If the immigrant is caught, i believe that they should not be sent back and that they should have the right to pursue a legal citizenship. They should still be able to live here and should be required to pay taxes but they should also be put on a sort of probation from full citizenship.

Illegal immigrants should be permitted to live where they please, as long as they do not cause any harm to where they are. Illegal immigrants are the people who usually take up the jobs that nobody wants. For instance a person that has studied to be a doctor wouldn't want to go to the fields and pick strawberrries for a small amount of money. Also, immigrants usually don't get involved with other people, all they want is an opportunity to begin a new and better life. After all isn't America the country of opportunities. If you think about it more thouroughly you will recall that are ancestors were once foreign to this country, so doesn't that mean that we are all illegal immigrants.

Although the thought of sending the people who steal American jobs and corrupt our "all american" country sounds ideal to many patriots, the fact and the reality of the matter is that deporting illegal immigrants is morally wrong and goes against the theory of what America was founded on. Everyone is supposed to be welcomed to America, and if it wasn't so hard to become a citizen, I'm sure many illegals wouldn't have a problem with it. Sure, there is a large group of illegals that fiend off of breaking the law and not having to pay taxes. But then there is the illegal that does what they need to have a better life for themselves and usually their family. Deporting these illegals that have already made their way to the United States is just making room for violence, unjust treatment, and most likely MORE expenses in sending the illegals back home.

I refuse to support the deportation of illegal immigrants. This issue has caused a lot of conflict over the years in the United States. The only true natives of the United States are the Native Americans. The British immigrated to the US on the famous Mayflower. They began to take over the Native American lands which led to brutal wars. Obviously ignorance and selfishness still runs in their veins. Even to this day, Americans are ignorant about the fact that their own ancestors were immigrants. Just because a person was born in the Uniited States, doesn't mean they are superior to a person who illegally immigrated here. I understand that illegal immigrants don't pay taxes and that creates a lot of conflict. We should support illegal immigrants and help them become residents and citizens.

The people living in this country illegaly are here for a reason. While i doo belive that everyone needs to get a green card and formally become a legal citizen, deporting them is cruel. For some people, coming to this country was their last option. Maybe their country was in a war, or the lost their job and no more were avaliable. However, the people that come here just to be here and do not try to become a citizen do deserve a "punishment" of some kind, but i still don't think deportation is the answer. Families have been seperated, children lost, and people left with nothing. That is not write no matter what they did. We need to come up with another option besides deprotation for the illegall immigrants.

Suppose you wanted to go some where but you couldn't cause you weren't of that knid. You were not of that select group , so you were told to go away.Thats in a way like illegal immagrants. More than likely illegal immigrants came to America in search of freedom, or a better lifestyle of living then the one they had. Nevertheless just because they have choosen to live in this country does not mean we should deport them. Yet give them a chance to earn there living like everyone else. But in oposistion, I don't think illegal immigrants should be allowed to live here by living under the law , such as not paying taxes. In a way they are living off of what we work for.

I believe that we should all have the chance to become greater in life even if we must move to another country illegaly. Side from being Mexican, I have known many people that are illegal in this country. They arrive to the United States to provide their families the opportunities they never had and give them the chance to have an education.

In North Korea many people living there go through intense hardships and suffering. Many want to leave and migrate illegally to South Korea or to China for a better life away from poverty, suffering, and the pain of being split apart from their families. Although it may be illegal if it helps other people live in better situations and in a better lifestyle then I don't support the deportation of illegal immigrants.

The deportation of immigrants has gone too far. People shouldn't make such a big deal about them being here because they're immigrants themselves. America doesn't really own this land. They've taken it from the natives, call it their own, and think they can rule whoever and however they want to. These illegal immigrants, as they're called, aren't harmful or destructive as believed. They're people, too, with dreams and hopes for a better future. Coming to America, which is supposed to be a "free country", they strive for brighter yet to come. If the big deal is just them not having papers, or being residents, they'll get them, and the problem will be over. They shouldn't be forced to leave. They have the right to be here.
