Men are seen as more dominant than women, which may be why a lot of people lean toward the appeal of a man being a leader. Also, women respond more emotionally than men would, so under pressure women might not be able to handle a situation. Not to say that some women won't be fantastic at being a leader, and it also seems unfair that they haven't had a whole lot of chances to prove their leadership skills like men have. Society seems like they think it would make them appear more vulnerable if a woman was in charge. People will bash on women more than men. The press want more stories about them, as apposed to men, to make them see more imperfect.

First off, let me point out that women are capable of being good leaders, but in my opinion I think men are natural born leaders. The role of a man (husband) is to labor to take care of his family. He's called the hus"band" because he's the band around the family. The role of a woman is to take care of the house and children. There was a significance of why God created Adam first. Adam was in charge and when Eve came around, she submitted to her husband. I think people listen to men better than they do women, partly because of the history of education, men being more educated than women. Their is a significance that God came in the form of a man and that all of the disciples were men.

Men have always been the primary leaders through all history and are natural leaders because they have gad the experience, not saying women aren't good leaders but men are the most dominant when it comes to the task .Leaders are someone who can get the job done and will have a great influence over a majority of people because there haven't been many female leaders in history. Even tho women are capable of being great leaders men will have a greater influence because of past leaders being men they are going to be followed by other men .

Yes, I think men make better leaders then women. Because they just seem to be more dominant and stronger then some women. For instance, Kobe Bryant best basketball player in the world and when mention people know him. Don't get me wrong women are leaders also, but men just seem to have greater force like they can lead a military. I'd rather have a male lead a army into the war then women.

Back in time when women weren't able to go to school, I would of said yes, men make better leaders. But today, both sexes have an equal chance of making good leaders. It just depends on the person's will. Women have an imense knowledge and we have achieved many obstacles and things that were only available for men. So now we are equal. Women can vote and work on careers that were just meant for men. Therefore women and men can equally be better leaders if that's what they aim for.

No because men are no more special than women are. Men and women are both created equal. There may be more men leaders but there have been great leaders from both genders. Men are meant for strength and labor. Women are meant for things that require less physical strength. But both can be excellent leaders in what they do.

Men have risen to almost global power. Women have taken leadership positions, but never have they completely and successfully led a nation to absolute victory.

Men, also have the physical aggression to propel and determine others to move forward. Women do not have that to a certain extent.

I belive that though women have been in power along side men. That men are more influentual leaders than women and that's why they have been more successful from what I've seen throughout my lifetime.

I've changed my view point to yes but someone voted on this post so i couldn't change it to yes

NO! Women can be a great leader just as well as a man. Women has just enough power as men do. Women can be a powerful leader as well as a man can. For example i'm a female and i'm a JROTC and i'm a company commander. I'm the leader of the whole entire class. I have the power, but there could have been a male to do what i'm doing. So therefore a woman can be a great and powerful leader just as well as a man could.

Just because you are a male it doesn't automatically make you better at leading others. To me gender is not a factor. I believe that all people have the ability to lead regardless of gender. Most people don't realize that there are actually a lot of female leaders in america. There a plenty of male and female business owners, lawyers, teachers, and other positions that require them to show a great amount of leadership. So, to me any female can lead as well as a man and vice versa.

It don't matter what sex the person is just as long as they get the job done. Women can do almost any thing a man can do. They can go to college and get the same type of degree as a man. But the american society well over look that and pick a man. Not to say a man could do the better job but you will find never know till you out.

Men are not better leaders then women, because women can accomplish anything a man can if they try there best. A women can be a leader as well as a man we all have our equal rights. Nobody can be better then anyone else just because of there gender but they can be better for their education. Women might not be named for doing something to change the world or for being a leader as much as a man, because there are men out there that dislike having a woman as a leader.

Judging myself, and being a woman, I'm a great leader. Looking in my class the young women excel far greater than the guys, and that's simply because personally they lead them selves well. I believe because of our generation women are coming up.

If you look outside of politics women are doing as well as men. For example Odyssey is a phenomenal

basketball, but so is Rickey. We could constantly go back and fourth and say oh this person is better than person, but I believe that our culture simply over looks women leading in other categories. I'm not saying women are better either though.

Men are not better leaders, but looking at politics and commercially they seem to be, but this don't make it a fact that men are better leaders than women. I think as years continue to go by women we eventually come to a point where we can say hey women and men are equal, we're just not there yet.

I don't think men make better leaders than women.

They have the same opportunities to success, and make a good

leadership. Men and women are equal, at this time there is not difference, for example: Mrs. Sotomayor is the first woman that has an important position in the government of The United States.

I don't think that men make a better leader than women.

Both can be a better leader, because man and women have equal opportunities to make good decicions.

I think that their really is no diffrence because both men and women make good leaders.

I can't say that men or women are better leaders than each other because there are great leaders from both sides for example Joan of Arc, Mother Theresa,Cleopatra, and Queen Elizabeth are good women leaders and George

Washington,King Arthur, Gandhi ,and Winston Churchill are good men leaders. They have both made history that their really isn't a leader better than the other they are just different in the things they lead.

My view towards both man and female i think they are both equally, there are some things that makes us diffrent such as our way of thinking and physically. Most people say that man are great leaders, and some say no, Woman can be great leaders as well example queen elizabeth, abigail adams,Queen Margrethe,Isabel Peron and alot more have been great leaders they are not exactly from the united states they can be from diffrent states or countrys as well, i would say me being a woman are something special in our own ways although alot of people dont agree on that, we have our own ideas and we think very diffrently. Men have been great leaders as weel such as george bush, obama, and alot more men. I guess it has to do of how the people think, and the historical as well. there can be bad leaders as well such as hitler, osama, sadam hosein. So i would say that men and woman are both great leaders.

No. Not necessairly because you have some independent minded women who can think for them self. They have it together know what need to be done. accomplishing what needs to get done. In my opinion there is a equal view. There is no one person better than the other individual, and gender.

Ok, I know most people would say men make the best leaders, but come on now! These unreasonable violent conflicts all come from the brutal thoughts of a male. From what I've seen all the leaders we have had are not at there best if not good at all to put it at that, Am I right?

Neither do i think a women would be the best leader for us, because everyone has there good and bad. With that kinda power i can see why people go nuts like hitler, bush, Saddam, The spice girls?! might as well be! I mean i'd rather have a bunch of off beat girls talk to me about spicing up the world then a man or women constantly lying to me and my countries face!

Sorry brotherins but maleni says guys suck as much as girls suck at being the big boss. enough said.

Both men and women have equal rights of being leader, a women can do what a man can. But by our opinions either the man or women can be a better leader. When it comes with familys, its usually the men in charge but when its an only child with one family member, its usually the person leaving with there mother, because the father's feel more in charge. But women can take charge of being a teacher, president, lawyer, principal. They like to take charge but they also like taking care of our society.

No, although most men are leaders most men vote for men to be leaders than women because I personally think men feel insecure to having a women telling them what to do, or vice versa, women vote for women so men won't run them.

While women being more collaborative men are more competitive. We are in an era of knowledge where people want to have their say, not just be told what to do. Nobody likes to be told what to do.
