i believe school does kill your creativity just because most teachers put a limit to your work. Some students love to go to infinity and beyond with their work and teachers just dont allow it. I believe teachers think school is to work and learn only, but truly its a place where students can go to express themselfs and show what they are made of. If teachers and principals dont allow it then how are students supposed to shine? Schools do kill creativity just because students cant do what they want for example when writing a paper you have a specific topic to talk about, some people like to dress different but arnt allowed, and if you want to be creative you have to join a spirit group or other groups . I think in order to be creative you shouldnt have to join any group, i think you should be able to be as creative as you want without anybody saying anything.

Yes, I think it kills our creativity because in what other ways can you express yourself; when in class, they want you to write over a certain topic. Just me, I like to write but it just depends on the topic being discussed or asked of me. If there were better ways that schools can get kids to express themselves, then we'd be able to express ourselves more freely.

They may try and bend the way in which we can write but it's just not the same, I'd like to write about what I want to write about.

I think why they kill it is because they make it seem like we don't have a choice in the matter so it takes away our creativity.

In my experience I found that it is true. Not all the time and not in all the schools. Fortunately I have been in many schools in two different countries and I could expirement how each schoool work. When I was in Mexico, in schoool I could make my notes as I wanted. I could use my creativity to make my notes more fun in order to undestand, but when I begin the school in U.S was something new because in here exist a method called "Cornell Notes" is not difficult but I can not understand with that structure and you can not develop skills to creat your own methods. Many teacher have their own methods and they whated that you used too and not let you develop your mind and be independet.

Schools are instutions to teach us how to develop our creativity not to kill our imagination. Creativity is a skill that help you in your real life and this skill open you many doors.

Some times the schools kill creativity especilly in united state in the schools from here you have to do the cornell notes . That way we can do notes some theachers have to be that way only that way instead in El Salvador we can do notes in a creativity form, the way that I wanted the theacher never say do your notes in a specific way they just leth us make ours own notes the notes can be colerfull or the way that I like.

In that way the schools in El Salvador cooperate in creativity class and in U.S.A is different so different I have been just in one school and every theacher is defferent some of then are more creativity than other but I had theachers that really they kill creativity and it is really sad that some theachers are not creativity and bon't let us use ours own imagination in class or activity but that is a great reason that in the schools kill activity or in anothers words our creativity.

I think school does kill our creativity becasuse teachers dont give us enough time to do some of our work. For example I had a project that was due in 3 days and it took me a week to finish it.And some teachers want student to finish it at the end of class some kids cant because it doesnt give them enough time to get there creativity swag kicked on. Also some kid dont turn there work in at all because they dont have it done or they didnt have enough time to do. It also depends on who your teacher is because if he or she is nice then they will give you more time to get your creativity flow out onto what your working on and some dont get you anymore time to do it and give you a bad grade. so that is why scholl kills young kids creativity.

I think that schools do kill your ceativity. There are too many rules in schools now a days. You can't seem to express yourself. You have to do whatever it is you are told most of the time. For example when writing an essay in English class you have to write about a specific topic given to you. Some students might want to express themselves in some ways that schools just don't allow. Some might say that there should be a limit on how creatve you can get. Yes that's true but schools should still be more lenient on that. You're not even allowed to be creative with your clothes. Most schools now have uniforms that you must wear until you get into high school. Even in high school you can't wear absolutly whatever it is you want.

School always kills your creativity. Their should always be freedom of expressing yourself but mostly all the time they chose for you. Theirs always a certain limit that you can do at school. Theres never a way that you can do more that you like without permission. Or when they give you rules! They don't let you think out of the box. You can never reach out! Even if your in an art class you can only do so much

Yes it does a person can't express themselves with all these rules on what we can't wear and what we can. If a girl wants to wear jeans with holes in them why can't she wear them. The policy is we cant wear sweat pants, any sports wear (basketball shorts etc.) I understand why we can't becasue of people who like to pants and play jokes on other people. But that doesn't mean they should just banned those types of clothing. Or if someone wanted to put another color in their hair why not let that person wear a different color they aren't hurting anyone by changing the color of their hair. If it was up to me i would let everyone wear basketball shorts or change the color of their hair maybe that person wanted to wear basketball shorts becasue they wanted to comfortable.

As a child, you grapple onto creativity. As an adolescent, you make it your own. While you are in these time periods of life you are in the system of education.

Now, my question to answer here is if schools kill creativity. I respond to this with a definite no. In some cases, I admit yes, creative ability is limited, but there are many schools in which kids blossom and flourish with their own identity.

Now, there used to be a definite line between creativity crushing institutions of education and spirited, lax schools. Now, public schools are fancying uniforms and the straight and narrow.

The line is now blurred, but do uniforms really limit creativity all that much to diminish it? Even in the private school atmosphere, you are forming bonds with different people and having a flavorful course schedule to inspire you to create that very identity.

And so, I must conclude that even in the most austere sense of the education system, you have ample space to mature into the creative soul you aspire to be.

How the school can kill the creativity, if between this we can be a better person in the future, to get a education. The school is a place where everybody can have the opportunity to discover the talent that you have.

The school is a open place where everybody who want have the opportunity to learn and create thing that you never thought could have those talent, the school shows us how we can use that talent in our lives.

For me the school is a place full of creativity in different areas whatever you want create or learn the school can show you. I believe that we make the creativity that means if you make no body can kill you talent or the creativities that you have.

School doesn't kill creativity because whenever you make something you need to follow rules. For exapmle a cake you need to follow directions to make it if not your cake is going to come out like crap right, and nobody wants to eat crappy cake. No matter what people do there are going to be rules people can't escape them or avoid them.

I don't belive that schools counteract creativity. Yeah, Theres a set of rules that limit the students of expressing themselves, but nesssary to keep order. If the schools let the students do what they what and wear what they want sooner or later the princable don't run the school...Its the students.

For Example what the students wears is a big argument, Is it really appropriate to wear a marijuana leaf on your shirt, or girls wearing short shorts and tank tops. It may look good to wear but, in the real world socialization is key.

Thats why the school host clubs after school like movie club, art club and etc. I think the school is trying to expand their creativity through classes and programs.
