How would you feel if they monitored you Daniel? Would you just sit idly by and let them? Would you do something about it?

Honestly, I don't believe that the government should be able to monitor anyone without them knowing that there is at least the chance of being monitored. I believe that would be an invasion of privacy, which means it would go against the Bill of Rights our Founding Fathers put into place. I don't think that anyone has the right to go against the Bill of Rights.

Honestly, No, I would not turn my husband in. I love him very much and I know what it feels like to be without him. Those 3 or 4 years we were apart were some of the darkest years I have ever known. I didn't think I would be happy again. When we got back together almost a year ago I finally felt hope again and since then I have been happier and more hopeful than ever. If he really did commit murder then I would more than likely help him cover it up and take care of everything for him, because thats what he would do for me. But i dont think he would be the one to commit murder unless the person did something to hurt me.

Thats what I said, you copycat.

In my personal opinion if you better yourself in the long run you can better the world. I mean you have to focus on yourself before you can take on the problems of the world and trying to fix them, or you will end up having a break down or something.

I believe the Shakespeare should continue to be taught in schools because he was a very good writer and its classic. Also a lot of people can relate to what he is writing about, like Romeo and Juliet for myself (without the deaths).

I agree because you may not be free physically or whatever but you can be free in your mind. to some people freedom is the ability to do whatever you want to without rules or restrictions which causes chaos.

Sam, in your stubborn vouching for McCain you get kind of rude. Chill out.

Batman is not a bat in any way. The Bat comes from his symbol. He risks his life to help others he is way more of a hero than Superman.

2 points

I think Batman is more heroic because Superman was born with his powers where Batman has to work at what he does. He decided to help his city out and worked at it, yeah he had the money to do so, but still, he has to actually work at it, Superman was lucky enough to be born with his powers and was raised to help others, Batman was living in a bad place and decided to help out by at least trying to make it a better place.

I believe that school does kill creativity because all the work we do is on our laptops. If we try to do anything that isnt exactly what the teacher asks of us, we get written up or in some kind of trouble. For me, I work better when I have music to listen to, but a lot of teachers won't let students listen to music until our work is done. We also are not allowed to dress the way we wish, I mean we aren't supposed to wear anything with skulls and crossbones, or certain colors, or even rosarys without being considered in a gang. Its a little ridiculous.

I believe it is better to be loved because if people love you they are a lot more likely to tell you the complete truth than if they are afraid of you.

1 point

That is true, I had a few friends, and myself, who had things stolen and the cameras never caught it. They would be a lot more helpful if they actually worked.

1 point

i thnk that is a great idea. it really would be a lot less of a hassle.

1 point

Granted it helps stop some things from happening, but it honestly doesn't prevent them all together. People will still find places to fight, or commit illegal acts. and the teachers only write referrals and send students to the office, which really only makes them mad, it doesn't really stop or prevent students from doing what they were doing.

2 points

I believe it is unwarranted because there really is no need for the cameras to be everywhere. I can understand having them placed in unsupervised areas or where people may be exchanging money or something of that nature but to have them everywhere including places noone can actually go is kind of ridiculous.

I dont think they should issue tickets just because someone cannot get a ride within thirty minutes. There are sometimes when people's parents or whoever they would get a ride from, may not be able to get there right away. They may be stuck in traffic, or something could have come up and thye have to find another ride. i also think its a bad idea because a lot of the people who can't get a ride right away also cannot afford to pay a ticket.
